In the year 1244 of the Rhine calendar, the city I live in is considered the most chaotic and lawless by the standards of the extraordinary world. The main reasons are the constant emergence of demons, malicious condensers, debtors attempting to break contracts, and, oh yes, the devils lurking in the shadows, trying to claim your soul. It's undeniable, yet people still flock to this city. It always offers a glimmer of hope, whether it's a lie or an illusion, but it's so close, so tangible, that it makes you risk life and limb. It's a chaotic and lawless city that constantly devours your life. And I, happen to be immortal.
