A failing swordsman in a swordsmanship academy encounters a mysterious old man who offers him a '100 Million Year Button.' Pressing it grants the equivalent of 100 million years of training. Intrigued, the swordsman presses it, only to find himself trapped in a 'prison of time' for 100 million years. He loses his memories after returning, retaining only his honed swordsmanship. Mistaking the button's effect, he presses it repeatedly, each time reliving the ordeal. Eventually, he realizes he can escape by 'cutting' the world itself.
