Accidentally Added a Wealthy Old Man After Having Insomnia

After struggling with insomnia for three months straight, Lu Xingmian ordered an online service to help lull him to sleep.

For the first time, he felt himself drifting off to sleep at the sound of the other party’s voice.

After a few more sessions, Lu Xingmian went ahead and purchased a full thousand hours of the other party’s time.

“Lull me to sleep every night.”

Lu Shiran, the head of the powerful Lu clan, actually received a huge sum of money from a high school student who purchased his evenings, asking him to help lull him to sleep each night.

Lu Shiran, who initially treated it as a joke, immediately deleted the other party’s contact. But later, every night, as soon as the time came, he came punctually to help Lu Xingmian sleep.

His friends couldn’t understand it.

Lu Shiran: I’m going home to lull a child to sleep.

Later, his friends discovered that this was no child at all; this was clearly a little ‘ancestor’.

Lu Shiran would personally put socks and shoes on Lu Xingmian. When Lu Xingmian got sick, Lu Shiran wished he could hold him in his arms and care for him all night. When Lu Xingmian accidentally broke a family heirloom antique vase, Lu Shiran’s first reaction was to rush over and pick Lu Xingmian up, worried he’d be hurt by the shards.

The only time Lu Shiran ever lost his calm was when Lu Xingmian ran away from home. He tore through the city in a panic, and by the time he finally found him, his eyes were red from worry. Clutching his beloved in his arms, he pleaded softly, “Little ancestor, please don’t torment me anymore.”

Later, the Lu family faced bankruptcy, and Mr. and Mrs. Lu had no choice but to ask the head of the Lu clan for help.

However, they witnessed a shocking scene.

The awe-inspiring head of the Lu clan was letting a boy boss him around.

And that boy was precisely Lu Xingmian, whom they had abandoned.
