Mako, a home center employee on the verge of death from overwork and consecutive days of overtime, somehow fends off a molester on her way home. However, exhausted, she falls asleep at her doorstep. In doing so, she awakens a special skill, Alchemy, allowing her to freely create any metal. Mako's ingenuity saves the twins' home, earning their respect. News of her abilities spreads, and other villagers seek her help. This is the story of Mako, a former home center employee with expertise in tools, construction, agriculture, and pets, using her cheat-like life skills to develop the beast-kin village and live a carefree slow life in another world.
