“What? Do you think this is child’s play? Engage anyone randomly?” The advertising department’s manager immediately raised his voice. Everyone was already used to him disagreeing with the finance manager. But Xia Weilan was sitting on the chair, feeling a little dumbfounded.

Old Master Xia cleared his throat. The two managers who were already smelling of gunpowder stopped their arguments.

Although Xia Weilan appeared calm, her heart was racing. Her idea was, since they had decided to go for it, they should do their best. When they consulted all the respective departments, they all agreed to engage some well-known celebrities.

“The marketing department mentioned before that if we can get Z jewellery into the Mo Corps malls, we can use this as a free advertisement. By doing so, we can reduce the advertising cost on other media platforms. We can use the remaining budget to engage one A-class celebrity to do some good publicity.”

Old Master Xia’s eyes flashed in approval when he heard this.

The finance manager and advertising department manager kept their mouths shut. They looked slightly at ease.

“If that’s the case, we’ll leave it to Weilan to work on dealing with the collaboration with Mo Corp.” Old Master Xia said promptly.

Xia Roulin’s blood was already boiling when she heard this. Xia Weilan had once again made use of Mo Beichen’s name. Is she planning on relying on Mo Beichen for everything?

“Who do you plan to engage for the advertising?” asked someone.

“That would certainly be the hottest actor who starred in the costume drama, Han Yishi,” answered the advertising manager.

Everyone’s eyes lit up, “That person was indeed a cooperative individual. He is high profile. His independent and outstanding profile matches the style of Z jewellery.”

“Yeah. Furthermore, Han Yishi has so many followers. He is the nation’s husband. As long as he is the ambassador, the product will surely be selling like hotcakes.”

“My daughter is his fan. I’m absolutely sure that as soon as the advertisement comes out, my daughter will make a beeline to the mall to buy Z jewellery.”

Everyone was talking at once. It was as if they could already foresee that the campaign would be a success. Their eyes were flashing with lights and they were all excited.

Xia Weilan was very pleased with their choice of this male actor. But Xia Roulin suddenly made a statement that killed everyone’s enthusiasm, “But I heard that Han Yishi never accepts jewellery advertisements. Moreover, he ever declared that he will never accept anything feminine.”

Everyone exchanged glances. The advertising department was speechless. They were well aware of the challenges. However, there really isn’t any candidate who is a close match to the product’s image.

“Well, we’ll never know until we give it a try.” Xia Weilan suddenly said. There was no emotion in her tone, but her words were somehow assuring.

After hearing her words, the advertising manager was more confident, “That’s right. We should give it a try.”

Xia Roulin never expected that Xia Weilan would be able to convince the advertising manager and finance manager in such a short time. Her heart was choking with anger throughout the whole session.

When the meeting ended, Xue Zhiqing dragged Xia Roulin in front of Xia Weilan and said in a friendly manner, “Weilan, Roulin is a straightforward girl. I hope that you won’t feel offended if she had perhaps offended you unintentionally.”

All the managers who already stood up saw this. Xia Roulin felt very embarrassed. However, Xue Zhiqing suddenly tightened his grip over her wrist, “Roulin, apologize to Weilan properly. You had been acting recklessly just now.”

Xia Weilan stared calmly at the act put up by the father and daughter pairing.

Xia Weilan acted very differently from her usual way. Moreover, she had been very occupied with the project lately and he had figured out what’s going on. However, he pretended that he had no idea and asked, “Is there something you would like me to help you with?”

Xia Weilan halted and let out a sweet smile, “Hubby, if I wish to get Z jewellery into the malls under Mo Corps, you’ll support me, right?”

Mo Beichen was secretly laughing when he saw the smiles flowing across her face. However, the words that came out from him made Xia Weilan’s heart sink.

“I’m afraid this will be a bit challenging as the mall is already occupied with tenants. We can’t simply drive other tenants out just to make way for Z jewellery.”

“I see…” Xia Weilan’s smiling face went stiff. Her head hung low and the feeling of disappointment radiated throughout her body.

“In that case, I’ll look for another option.” Xia Weilan once again lifted her head and let up a faint smile.

At first, she thought that this would be a very easy task, but she never thought that…

After dinner, Xia Weilan waited for Mo Beichen to drive the car to the restaurant’s entrance.Mo Beichen who was at the car park received a phone call.

Mo Beichen led Xia Weilan to a place.
