It was a cool and fine day during the Mid-Autumn Festival. That day coincided with the National Day holiday. Cloudside was full of customers in the morning.

When Jiang Ying got up, Yun Xian had already left and left her breakfast with a sentence: “Happy Mid-Autumn Festival, happy National Day, happy every day”

The sore thighs and low energy she woke up to was completely dispelled by this note. Jiang Ying ate the congee and half a mooncake with double egg yolk fillings.

She sent a message to Yun Xian and asked him how the café was. ꜱᴜᴘᴘᴏʀᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴛʀᴀɴꜱʟᴀᴛᴏʀ ᴀɴᴅ ʀᴇᴀᴅ ᴏɴ ꜰᴏxᴀʜᴏʟɪᴄ.ᴄᴏᴍ

Yun Xian said that there were less people right now, and the street was busy today. He asked her to get up quickly.

Jiang Ying sent an emoji of a child rolling around. She tidied up and prepared to go out.

Occasionally on such a holiday, Jiang Ying would work as a temporary worker in Cloudside—she called herself a temporary worker, but Su Cheng had been obediently calling her boss’s wife for a long time.

Today, she got up late. When she arrived at the store, it was lunch time. The customers in the morning had already left.

Jiang Ying craved the rabbit pudding, which was basically sold out in the morning. Su Cheng’s made a limited quantity. After it was posted on Moments, there were several orders.

The milk pudding looked like a rabbit. It tasted sweet and was silky. It was mainly beautiful, and looked adorable. Everyone liked it.

Yun Xian hid two for Jiang Ying in the back kitchen and saved them for her as dessert.

In the afternoon, some customers came to buy it. However, Xiao Ran told them “Sorry, it’s sold out” over and over again.

Jiang Ying watched the disappointed customers as she happily ate the pudding in the bowl. She said to Yun Xian with a grin, “I’m fortunate to have you.”

Su Cheng was already used to this. When they were not together, Yun Xian would always hide things for Jiang Ying in the refrigerator.

When Su Cheng finished his work in the morning, he was on vacation mode. Su Cheng patted Xiao Ran on the shoulder before he left. “Sister Ran, I’m leaving. You can be a light bulb for them here.”

Xiao Ran did not feel like that. The boss and the boss’s wife were very well matched. They were both gentle people. They didn’t make others feel uncomfortable when they stood together. Sometimes she would smile without realizing it when she looked at them.

In the afternoon, Li Zhicheng came with a cat carrier, which had the orange cat, Tata.

He saw how Jiang Ying was there with an apron on and clicked his tongue. He pretended to be annoyed and asked Yun Xian, “Why is my employee working here?”

Jiang Ying smiled and didn’t respond to that. She asked him what he wanted to drink.

Yun Xian also smiled and pointed to Jiang Ying. “She doesn’t work. She is my leader.”

Li Zhicheng raised an eyebrow and said, “Oh? Then I’m the leader of your leader.”

Yun Xian threw a napkin at him and scolded with a smile, “You really try to take advantage of everything.”

These two were more than 60 years old if their ages were added up, but their way of getting along was the same as elementary school students.

Jiang Ying ignored them and took the plate to serve the customers.

Li Zhicheng put the cat bag on the table and said to Yun Xian, “I’ll be gone for a few days. This cat owner is entrusting the cat to you.”

Yun Xian looked him up and down. “Where are you going? Who are you looking for?”

Li Zhicheng: “The moon, Chang’e1.”

Yun Xian still wanted to say a few words, but Li Zhicheng got up to go.

“There might be traffic, so I’ll leave first.”

“Okay, be careful on the road.” ꜱᴜᴘᴘᴏʀᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴛʀᴀɴꜱʟᴀᴛᴏʀ ᴀɴᴅ ʀᴇᴀᴅ ᴏɴ ꜰᴏxᴀʜᴏʟɪᴄ.ᴄᴏᴍ

In the evening, when he was swiping through Moments, he saw Li Zhicheng’s latest update. In the picture, there was a table of delicious food. He didn’t know whether it was intentional or unintentional, but a woman’s back was on the upper left corner.

With one glance, Yun Xian knew it was Zhou Yi. Yun Xian let out an oh and gave Li Zhicheng a like.

The Mid-Autumn Festival’s full moon coincides with National Day. It’s hard to meet up with people during such a holiday. It’s best to get together with loved ones and have a happy get together.

At 8 PM, Cloudside Café closed early.

Yun Xian poured two cups of lemon tea. He took three or four pieces of mooncakes and put them on a porcelain plate. He also placed a wooden table and some chairs in the yard outside the shop.

The night sky was black like ink, and the full moon was golden. The surrounding area was quiet, the evening wind was blowing slowly, and the air was filled with a sweet osmanthus fragrance.

Yun Xian and Jiang Ying sat on wooden chairs and looked up to the sky and the moon together.

At this moment, time seemed to slow down. Jiang Ying had the moon in her eyes and felt so happy in her heart. She reached over and held Yun Xian’s hand.

From spring to autumn, their time together was neither long nor short. However, Jiang Ying was looking forward to the future when she thought of how there would be many days spent like this later on.

Yun Xian took out his cell phone from her pocket and did something with one hand. Jiang Ying didn’t know what he had done, but he put it away after a while.

Before going to bed at night, Jiang Ying scrolled through Wechat and found out that he had posted on Moments.

There were three pictures. The first was the moon in the sky, the second was the mooncake on the table, and the third was their hands together.

He said: I used to like festivals because I could go on a break. Now I like festivals because I want to have a reason to go on a date with you.

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival. Next year, please accompany me to enjoy the moon again.
