Today, there’s nothing much going on, so let’s just call it a day early, huh? Heh~

"Hey, the next class isn’t yours, right? Why are you still here?"
There was about a minute left before the next class started. Seeing that the other students weren’t reacting, Okazaki Tomoya reluctantly walked up to the podium to remind Levi to give up his seat to the next teacher. This kind of task, which should be done by a good student, made the delinquent Okazaki feel very awkward.
"Phew~"
"Uh, could it be that..."
"Phew... Phew..."
Okazaki couldn’t help but twitch. The teacher lying there, both in terms of his actions and the sounds he was making, was clearly engaged in the important physiological activity known as 'sleeping.' Although Okazaki often slept in class, seeing the same thing happen to a teacher at this time and place was something even he, a delinquent, couldn’t tolerate.
Recently, due to certain events, Okazaki, who seemed to be trying to leave his delinquent ways behind in the eyes of others, naturally wouldn’t miss such a good opportunity to show his change.
He leaned down, bringing his face close to Levi’s ear. Taking a deep breath, he gathered all the air in his lungs, cupped his hands, and shouted loudly.
"Get up quickly, the math teacher is coming!"
Okazaki’s lungs were starting to protest from the shout. He thought he would scare the delinquent teacher, but to his surprise, while Levi did react, he didn’t seem to be bothered at all. It was like a muted alarm clock, making Okazaki feel like he was just wasting his energy and breath.
"Oh... It’s Okazaki, good morning."
"Good morning... Do you think this is your home? You just finished teaching our class. Go back to the office to sleep, don’t affect the next class."
Hearing his student’s words, Levi looked up in confusion, confirming his location.
"So we’re in the classroom. Okazaki, was that you talking to me just now?"
"Who else would be talking to you if all the other students are ready for class?"
"Really? I thought I was hearing things. I didn’t expect a delinquent like you to care about disrupting class?"
Their conversation, especially Levi’s evaluation of Okazaki, made the students sitting below the podium burst into laughter.
Feeling like he had become the object of his classmates’ ridicule, the delinquent boy was extremely embarrassed and, without realizing it, followed Levi out of the classroom filled with 'joy.'
"Huh? Why are you following me out?"
Only when they reached the corner of the stairs did the dazed Levi notice the student following him.
"Given that situation, do you think I could stay in the classroom and be laughed at?"
"Could it just be an excuse to skip class? Never mind, since you don’t seem to be preparing for college anyway, I don’t need to bother with this."
The frustrated Okazaki was also a bit puzzled. When had he, who always did as he pleased, started to care about his classmates’ opinions?
"Even though it’s true, it still feels strange coming from you, a teacher..."
"Always worrying about small things will make it hard for you to find a girlfriend. But let’s not talk about that. Since you woke me up, I need to go back to sleep quickly."
Since waking up, Levi hadn’t stopped yawning. Although his injuries had healed after a night’s sleep, the energy and physical strength he had expended in the battle with Berserker hadn’t been fully replenished.
He really wanted to take a sick day and sleep comfortably at home. But considering that Kyouya might cause trouble at school, he didn’t dare leave everything to Rin. Reluctantly, he returned to school on time, just in case.
It turned out his worries were unnecessary. From the information he had, Kyouya hadn’t come to school at all. Of course, how many people could have a constitution like Levi and Yew? The injuries from yesterday would likely keep that arrogant rookie out of commission for a while.
"Wait, where are you going?"
Seeing Levi about to leave, Okazaki quickly called out to him. He had run out of the classroom on impulse and now didn’t feel like going back. But if he were to skip class, he couldn’t think of anywhere to go. After all, he was being forced to skip, not choosing to skip school. He still planned to return for the next class.
"Uh... Back to the office to sleep, where else?"
Levi’s answer was a bit evasive, and Okazaki couldn’t help but look suspicious.
"Your office is upstairs, don’t tell me you’re so tired you can’t tell up from down."
Okazaki was right; Levi didn’t actually plan to go back to the office. Although he could rest there, he had a better choice in mind.
That place wasn’t exactly a secret. If it were any other time, he wouldn’t mind bringing Okazaki along. But today was a bit special, which made Levi a bit hesitant.
After some consideration and a long stare at Okazaki,
Levi’s gaze made Okazaki very uncomfortable, as if he were facing a strict interviewer, feeling like he was being seen through.
Fortunately, the awkward atmosphere didn’t last long. Levi finally seemed to make a decision and shook his head a bit helplessly.
"You have nowhere to go, right? Follow me, just don’t make a fuss and disturb my rest. And don’t go spreading rumors to your classmates when you get back!"
Okazaki was completely baffled by these mysterious words. But instinctively, he nodded in agreement, feeling that something interesting might happen if he followed this teacher.
Following Levi down the stairs and out of the teaching building, Okazaki, who had skipped class, didn’t dare to walk around the courtyard like Levi. He waited until Levi had walked a few meters and then, taking advantage of a teacher turning to write on the board, he quickly ran along the wall to a blind spot.
Okazaki’s series of actions looked like those of a special forces soldier secretly infiltrating an enemy base in a movie, almost making Levi laugh when he turned to look for him.
"Hey, what’s been going on with you lately? Suddenly acting like a good student?"
Turning the corner and out of the range of the teaching building, Levi asked Okazaki, who finally emerged from the shadows.
"Sigh, I promised someone I wouldn’t skip class or be late, and now I regret it."
Mentioning this, Okazaki looked quite depressed. After being a delinquent for two years, it was understandably difficult to suddenly decide to reform.
"Don’t make promises you can’t keep, or you’ll regret it later."
Levi, who had experienced similar things, reflected on his own mistakes in his youth.
As they approached the club activity building, he suddenly added, "I’m not encouraging you to stay a delinquent, don’t get the wrong idea."
"Got it, got it."
Okazaki responded casually. His mind was now focused on the club activity building. Since he didn’t participate in any extracurricular activities, he was quite unfamiliar with this small building. He was curious where Levi was taking him. It couldn’t be the student council office, right? That was a place off-limits to regular students.
The two entered the club activity building. Okazaki seemed a bit uncomfortable or curious, paying attention to the signs on the doors as they walked.
Occasionally, when they passed an open activity room, he would peek inside. If seen by someone unfamiliar, they might think he was a new transfer student being shown around the school by a teacher.
"Don’t get too distracted, we’re here."
Hearing Levi’s words, Okazaki snapped back to reality, realizing they had almost reached the end of the first floor.
They were now standing in front of a closed door. This door was larger than the previous club room doors and was designed to open in both directions, looking more like a storage room. Okazaki habitually looked up to confirm the sign.
"Library and Archives?"
