No longer thinking about what Richard just said, Fat Li continued to ask, "What about you? Are you going to UEA to find your comrades?"
"No, I’ll go with you guys." Unexpectedly, the strong ally actually offered himself to Fat Li and the others.
"With your skills, if you stay with us, we’ll be the ones holding you back," Fat Li said hastily, the surprise was a bit too sudden.
"It’s fine. It’s better than being alone... Zombies only target the weakest. Staying with you guys, my chances of survival are the highest."
Fat Li was initially quite happy to have gained a powerful comrade, but upon hearing the latter part of Richard’s sentence, he couldn’t help but want to curse.
Don’t look at Richard’s calm and harmless appearance; his inner thoughts were truly sinister. These ex-soldiers were really different from us college students.
"So, there’s not a single living person in the entire train station?" Fat Li had to ignore Richard’s words again and then asked about the situation at the train station.
"I only encountered a few people fleeing on the way here. I didn’t see anyone at the train station." Richard looked at the moon in the sky, as if recalling the events of the day.
"Of course, if I had lured all the zombies here, maybe the people hiding in the train station could have survived. I would have done a good deed, right?"
"......"
"Go to sleep. I’ll keep watch for you." Richard was about to switch places with Fat Li.
"No need. I’ll sleep during the day tomorrow. I snore, and if it attracts zombies, that wouldn’t be good." Fat Li said helplessly.
The front door of this small supermarket was made of glass. If it caught the attention of zombies, it wouldn’t provide much defense.
Richard, acting on his own, came to the window and pushed Fat Li to the bed.
This Richard first pushed Yan Zekun to the passenger seat and now easily pushed Fat Li to the bed. This guy really likes pushing things. As Fat Li was thinking, Richard spoke again.
"It’s clear you’re the leader of this group. If you sleep tomorrow, who will the others listen to? Go to sleep, I’ll keep watch."
"I’m not a leader, I’m just the oldest. They respect me..." Fat Li felt his face turning red and quickly used the snoring excuse to refuse Richard’s offer.
"I really do snore. If I didn’t, I would have found someone to replace me."
"Snoring is just a minor issue." Richard took off his backpack and placed it next to Fat Li.
"Turn your back to me and sleep on your right side."
Sleep on your right side? That would expose my back to you?
Fat Li hesitated for a moment but still followed Richard’s advice, lying down with his back to Richard and facing the bed.
Richard kicked the backpack with his foot, pushing it against Fat Li’s back.
"Try not to drink before bed and smoke less. You’re so fat, snoring is normal... but you won’t snore anymore in the future." Richard lowered his voice to avoid disturbing others.
"How so?" Fat Li, lying on his side, asked without turning his head.
"Your snoring is mainly due to lack of exercise and obesity. Now that the world has changed, as long as you survive, you’ll eventually lose weight. Of course, don’t get too excited; the premise is that you survive."
Richard’s words were truly unpleasant to hear. Fat Li cursed in his heart, I have the protagonist’s aura, I’ll definitely live longer than you.
"If you still snore, I’ll kick you. Sleep easy. If I can’t hold on, I’ll get someone else to take over." Richard’s voice came from behind again.
Although Richard wasn’t likable, he wasn’t a bad person and wouldn’t stab anyone in the back.
Besides, with his skills, why would he need to stab anyone in the back? Even if he fought us fairly, we might not be able to win.
Thinking this through, Fat Li relaxed and faced away from Richard, lowering his guard.
Hehe, Albe and Michelle are lying on the bed. If one of them moves around in their sleep and falls off, they’ll land right on me...
The day’s events, from the KTV to the supermarket, and the battle with Edward’s group, had drained Fat Li’s energy.
Fat Li’s mind wandered, and before long, he fell asleep.
Richard, hearing Fat Li’s light snoring, took out the Yuxi cigarettes and lighter he had returned to Fat Li and started smoking.
At some point, he had taken back the cigarettes and lighter he had returned to Fat Li.
After a few puffs, Richard’s stomach growled, reminding him that he hadn’t eaten in a long time. He picked up the flashlight and easily passed through the room full of sleeping people, going downstairs to find food.
Although Fat Li had relaxed his guard around Richard, someone else remained very alert.
Yan Zekun, who had been sleeping, opened his eyes, sat up slightly, and glanced at the staircase. After hesitating for a moment, he lay back down and continued sleeping.

In the hall of Wonderland, a dozen people were divided into several groups, sitting in different areas.
Six Chinese people were gathered near the entrance, all looking young, likely UEA students. They had somber faces and were discussing something in low voices.
Norwich, an ancient city, was once the second-largest city in Britain after London in the 11th century. However, by the 21st century, this not-so-prosperous small city was more famous for its renowned university, the University of East Anglia, which attracted tourists and a floating population.
The University of East Anglia, or UEA, has over ten thousand international students, with a significant portion being Chinese. Therefore, it’s not surprising to see such a high proportion of Asians in a place like a nightclub, which is frequented by young people.
On the other side of the entrance, not far from the Chinese group, sat three other Asians. The two women and one man were constantly saying things like "wa" and "desi," clearly Japanese.
In the center of the hall, on the sofas next to the dance floor, sat seven young British people. Although there were more girls, the two boys were over six feet tall and looked like they frequently went to the gym.
Despite their gloomy faces, they occasionally joked, making them the group with the best atmosphere.
Before the world changed, three of the girls were supposed to go to the nearby cinema to watch a movie. After waking up from their slumber and finding the world transformed, they had fled together to Wonderland.
Wonderland, a paradise, what a beautiful name.
