To the zombies, the two humans inside the door were simply a sumptuous feast.
Fat Li signaled for Hao Chen to speak even more quietly.
"Strictly speaking, they are zombies. The kind you see in biohazard or The Walking Dead."
Seeing the still somewhat confused look on Hao Chen's face, Fat Li asked again, "You haven't watched The Walking Dead, have you?"
Hao Chen nodded.
"Those things are too scary; I didn't dare to watch them."
For a girl, that's understandable.
"It's not the time for idle chat. Anyway, that's what's happening. You've seen it; these things eat people, and they are very strong. We don't know how long the KTV's door can hold. And 80% of the people in the KTV who haven't woken up will likely turn into zombies. We are truly in a state of internal and external troubles!" Fat Li said with a worried look.
"What should we do then?" Hao Chen was naturally introverted and not particularly decisive. In a life-or-death situation like this, it was already good that she didn't faint again.
Fat Li thought for a moment and said, "We must first deal with the internal threat. The most important thing now is these unconscious people. If we don't handle them, we will definitely die!"
"You mean kill them all!!??"
As Hao Chen spoke, she involuntarily took two steps back. This time, she tripped over someone's foot and fell backward again.
With a "bang," Hao Chen's head hit the ground hard, and she fainted again.
"Damn! Kill your sister! Do I look like a cruel person to you!?"
Fat Li walked over and kicked Hao Chen with his foot, but there was no response. She had really fainted.
He didn't know if she would turn into a zombie when she woke up.
Fat Li sighed and was about to carry Hao Chen to a private room on the second floor when he heard gunshots from outside.
The six zombies at the door stopped and were attracted by the gunshots. Fat Li cautiously walked to the door and looked outside.
Not far away, two police officers were running over, shooting as they ran.
However, their aim was poor. The zombies chasing them not only didn't decrease but increased due to the gunshots.
Their police car was parked in front of the KTV, next to the dead Korean genius. These two police officers had probably been investigating the direction the black-clad man had fled.
Fat Li glanced at the small supermarket across the street. The lights were off, possibly to avoid attracting the zombies' attention. It seemed at least one of them had survived.
The six zombies in front of the door, seeing a meal delivered to them, pounced without hesitation.
The two white police officers also noticed them. One of them paused, aimed, and fired a few shots.
This time, possibly because of the closer distance, two zombies were shot in the head and fell to the ground.
Fat Li nodded inwardly. Indeed, like in The Walking Dead, the zombies' heads were their weak point.
The other police officer didn't stop, accelerated slightly, and shook off the slow-moving zombies. He ran to the police car, got in, and started the engine.
Due to the previous shooting, although the other zombies weren't completely killed, the bullets made them pause for a few seconds. It was these crucial seconds that allowed the remaining police officer to rush past them.
However, just a few steps from the police car, it suddenly started and backed out quickly. Then it made a big U-turn, adjusted its direction, and sped away.
"F**k! Son of a bitch!" The abandoned police officer cursed, glanced at Fat Li, and ran over, signaling Fat Li to open the door.
Fat Li hesitated slightly, and the police officer raised his gun and pointed it at Fat Li!
"Open the door!"
With a gun pointed at him, Fat Li had no choice but to take out the key. Just as he was about to unlock the bicycle lock, he saw a large wave of zombies approaching the police officer from behind!
"Watch your back! Behind you!"
As Fat Li finished speaking, the police officer was overwhelmed by the zombies pouncing from behind.
"Bang! Bang!"
Two gunshots were followed by the police officer's screams.
"Ah!!!"
Watching a person being torn apart and eaten in front of him, Fat Li felt his heart was about to break.
Seeing the blood and intestines on the ground, even with his strong stomach, Fat Li couldn't help but feel nauseous.
"Ugh..." After a few dry heaves, Fat Li quickly left the door.
The situation was no longer about dealing with the internal threat first. This large group of zombies would eventually break down the KTV's door!
What should he do!?
Fat Li moved a few sofas from the first-floor living room to the door and placed the two brothers blocking the door on the sofas, hoping to delay them a bit longer.
The people in the living room were still a big隐患 (hazard). Fat Li couldn't guarantee that the remaining people would wake up like Hao Chen.
Fat Li hurried to the storage room, found some ropes, and tied up everyone's hands and feet, including the manager.
Fat Li also grabbed a mop in case he needed a weapon for self-defense.
After tying them up, Fat Li dragged them all to the bathroom. He stuffed one person into each toilet stall, but there were still a few left. With no other place to put them, he had to leave them scattered in the bathroom.
May you all be blessed.
Just as he came out of the bathroom, Fat Li heard the sound of pounding on the door and low growls.
These zombies, who had just had an appetizer, were not satisfied and were now targeting Fat Li.
Fat Li's mind raced. He grabbed the phone from the counter and ran upstairs.
He quickly ran to the window, opened a random song on his phone, and turned the volume to the maximum. The zombies downstairs were attracted by the music and looked up.
Without a word, Fat Li threw the phone out. Of course, not toward the small supermarket across the street.
The phone landed on a corpse, didn't break, and continued to play music.
"Zombie, zombie, zombie, what's in your head, what's in your head."
Unexpectedly, the song was The Cranberries' "Zombie." Fat Li smiled bitterly. How ironic.
The zombies in front of the KTV were mostly attracted to the music and no longer posed a threat to the door.
Just as Fat Li breathed a sigh of relief, sudden rapid footsteps came from behind!
Damn, he had only focused on clearing the hall and hadn't checked the second floor!
Without thinking, Fat Li swung the mop behind him.
The mop whistled through the air and struck the person's head!
