"Shit! This is a death sentence!"

Si Yao hurriedly ran to the window with Alex to look outside.

"Ooh~ Ooh~ Ooh~"

At this moment, Arthas was grabbing the rope, pushing off the wall with all his might, and howling as he swung toward the adjacent guest room.

"Have you watched too much Tarzan?" Si Yao and Alex helplessly commented.

It had to be said, Arthas, being the Queen's personal guard, had some truly impressive skills. Si Yao and Alex were watching with great interest when they heard a "bang."

It turned out that Arthas hadn't controlled his direction well and had crashed into the window frame, bouncing back. The massive impact almost made him lose his grip and fall, but fortunately, Arthas managed to catch the rope in time and didn't fall much.

"Huff, huff."

Arthas panted heavily and climbed up a bit more.

"I say, let's pull you up, Arthas! You'll fall to your death like this!" Si Yao grabbed his glasses and looked down at Arthas below.

Arthas shook his head, signaling Si Yao not to worry. After stabilizing himself, he pushed off the wall again and charged toward the adjacent guest room!

"Bang!"

"I say, brother. How about we go back and kill the zombies together? Don't die from hitting yourself instead of the zombies; that would be a laughingstock!" Si Yao and Alex watched as Arthas repeatedly hit the wall, feeling very worried.

But Arthas was very stubborn and refused to give up.

The rope was tied to this room, so when he swung toward the opposite side, the tension made it difficult for Arthas to control his direction, leading to repeated failures.

Si Yao glanced back at the door, where several hands were reaching through the hole, and the door was starting to loosen from the constant pounding. Even from the window, they could hear the low growls of the zombies.

It wouldn't be long before they broke in!

"I say, brother, stop imitating Tarzan! The zombies are coming in! If it's too much, just throw us the gun, okay?" Si Yao shouted down to Arthas again.

Arthas ignored him and continued with his plan. Finally, this time, Arthas kicked through the glass of the adjacent room! He let go of the rope and flew into the room with the momentum.

After rolling, Arthas quickly got up and checked the room. Fortunately, there were no zombies! He threw the backpack and gun to the side and ran back to the window to shout at Si Yao and Alex: "Throw me the rope!"

Si Yao understood Arthas's intention. After swinging the rope a few times, he threw it to Arthas in the adjacent room.

Arthas caught the rope accurately and tied it to the leg of a table. Thus, a high-altitude rope bridge on the third floor was created.

"You two can come over! Hurry!"

The rope connecting the two rooms now resembled a zip line, but without any safety measures. The zombies outside were about to break the door, and the two of them had no time to hesitate!

"Live or die, it's up to fate!"

Si Yao said, looked at Alex, and jumped onto the window sill.

"Be careful!" Alex said worriedly as he saw Si Yao hanging in the air, gripping the rope.

Si Yao was moving inch by inch, struggling to reach the adjacent room.

The zombies below had been attracted by Arthas's constant wall-hitting sounds and were excitedly calling out. Now, they had spotted new prey and were frantically waving their hands, trying to capture the falling meal first.

Si Yao felt he had no strength left, but he was still halfway to the adjacent room! He couldn't help but look down.

Shit! Thinking of the consequences of falling, Si Yao's body was suddenly filled with energy, and he quickly climbed the last few meters to the adjacent room. Arthas grabbed Si Yao's hand and pulled him into the room.

Because Arthas and Alex had helped Si Yao secure the rope earlier, his climb was relatively easy. Now, with one end unsecured, it was much more difficult.

As soon as Alex stood on the window, there was a "bang"! The guest room door was broken by the zombies! Alex hurriedly grabbed the rope and started moving toward the adjacent room.

The zombies pushed the door down and rushed into the room, stepping over their fallen comrades. Seeing the food disappear by the window, they persistently gathered around it.

The table tied to the rope had already been weakened by Si Yao and Arthas's repeated swinging. It broke instantly when the zombies crashed into it.

"Ah!!!"

Alex, who had already moved halfway, suddenly felt himself falling!

"Shit!"

Alex desperately clung to the rope, almost losing his grip due to the sudden change. With one end unsecured, the situation was the same as before. Alex had to climb the third floor again, and his current position was almost at the first-floor roof level.

He was only about a meter away from the zombies below, who, seeing the food right in front of them, became even more frenzied, jumping to grab Alex's feet!

"Alex! Climb up quickly!" Si Yao was also startled by the sudden incident and shouted worriedly to Alex.

After climbing the third floor once, Alex hadn't rested much and was really struggling to climb again.

"Damn!"

Alex barely made it to the second floor, his feet on the window sill, and he had no more strength to climb further. The zombies, seeing Alex standing on the second-floor window sill, stopped jumping.

Alex's hands were sweaty, and he almost slipped a few times. After resting, he tried to kick the second-floor window with his feet, but without momentum, the glass wouldn't break.

Instead, his large movements put him in danger again.

"Grab the rope! We'll pull you up!" Arthas shouted and, along with Si Yao, gripped the rope and pulled with all their might.

Alex also tried to use the wall for leverage. All three were drenched in sweat, pushing their physical limits to the extreme. Finally, Arthas grabbed Alex's arm and pulled him into the room.

"OMG! Shit! Thank you so much! Ha, that was really exciting!" Alex leaned against the window, sat down, and panted, eventually laughing.

"Huff, huff, you're welcome." Arthas sat on the ground facing the window, panting heavily.

"Why are you being so polite? You've saved me several times. What are you raising your hands for? Scared out of your wits?" Si Yao sat next to Arthas and, noticing Alex's raised hands, asked in confusion.

"Both of you, raise your hands!"

A young girl's voice came from behind them.
