"Your noise is keeping me awake, come in yourselves! I'm on the second floor, door D, bring it up to me after you come in!" The boy said, then threw his student card and the key to door D out of the window.

Li Fatty hurriedly picked up the student card and key that had fallen to the ground. When he looked up again, the person was already gone.

"Hey, what do you think about this? When you're sleepy, someone sends you a pillow?" Li Fatty waved the items in his hand, a bit at a loss whether to laugh or cry.

"Should we go?" Yan Zeke asked cautiously.

"Why not? At least we don't have to climb the wall anymore!" Li Fatty answered without hesitation. In his view, they didn't have the skills to climb over walls, so this person was really a godsend.

Worried that the person on the second floor might hear, Yan Zeke lowered his voice and said, "I'm afraid it's a trap!"

Hearing Yan Zeke's words, Lily also felt uneasy. After all, the incident with Aiwade and his gang had only happened a few days ago, and she was still scared from it.

"Yan, you're good in every way, but there are two things that really bother me."

Li Fatty patted Yan Zeke's shoulder and continued, "One is your paranoia, and the other is how annoying you get when you drink."

Li Fatty looked at the student card and said, "Niu Dabao, do you think someone with that name would set a trap for us?"

"The name doesn't mean anything," Yan Zeke said stubbornly.

"Then you climb the wall, I'll wait inside. Remember, it's the second floor, door D, don't get it wrong." Li Fatty said and walked straight to the front door.

Lily hesitated for a moment and followed. Yan Zeke looked at the balcony on the second floor, sighed, and followed as well.

The three of them returned to the dormitory entrance. Li Fatty placed the student card on the door lock. A "beep" sounded, the green light lit up, and Li Fatty pushed the handle, opening the dormitory door.

The dormitory corridor was dim. Li Fatty stomped his foot, and the corridor lights turned on. However, the light was still dim and didn't provide much illumination. Well, after so many years, it still hasn't changed. As soon as you enter, there's a staircase, and next to it are the passages to doors A and B.

Li Fatty gestured for Yan Zeke to protect Lily. He held a machete and walked deeper into the passage. No matter how long they stayed here, the first floor had to be secure. After all, everyone had to pass through here, and if there were any hidden dangers on the first floor, it could lead to serious problems in the future.

There were no zombies in the passage. Li Fatty stood in front of the doors to dormitories A and B and listened. The doors to dormitories A and B faced each other, and Li Fatty clearly heard the movements of zombies inside.

However, even if there were zombies inside, they couldn't break out. After all, there were at most five zombies in a dormitory, and the doors effectively kept them confined.

Li Fatty didn't plan to deal with the zombies in these dormitories for now. First, they didn't have the keys, and how to enter was a problem. Second, they were only three people, and unnecessary risks should be avoided.

Besides, Niu Dabao's identity hadn't been clarified yet. Moreover, whether it was the missing Si Yao and Alex, or He and the others who were taken by the strange woman, or Harlow and the others who had lost contact, and the partners left in Wonderland, they all needed to be found one by one.

As long as the zombie wave passed, they would immediately return to Wonderland. So this dormitory couldn't be a long-term place, and there was no need to take unnecessary actions.

Li Fatty thought about this and walked back to the staircase, gesturing for Yan Zeke and Lily to go upstairs. The second floor was also safe, and they didn't encounter any zombies.

However, this wasn't a good sign. The absence of zombies outside meant that they were all trapped inside the dormitories. They would have to fight a tough battle soon.

Li Fatty came to the door of dormitory D and listened. He could faintly hear low growls, but the sound wasn't loud, indicating that the zombies were trapped in their rooms. These zombies hadn't eaten for four or five days and were likely in a state of hibernation.

Li Fatty used the key to open the door of dormitory D and gently pushed it. Yan Zeke and Li Fatty were highly alert, while Lily hid behind them.

The room was empty.

Li Fatty and Yan Zeke kept Lily in the middle, back to back, and walked into the dormitory. They reached the kitchen safely, and Li Fatty gave Yan Zeke a nod, then pushed open the kitchen door.

The kitchen was also empty, and the three of them immediately hid inside. Li Fatty checked around and walked to the balcony door. As expected, the door was locked from the inside. Even if they had climbed up, they would have had to break the window to get in. He didn't unlock the balcony door, as safety was more important than anything.

Li Fatty left the balcony and said to Lily and Yan Zeke, "Now we should discuss Niu Dabao. I thought about it, and it's not entirely unreasonable for Yan to be suspicious. There are some things that don't seem right."

"I also feel something is off, but I can't put my finger on it," Lily agreed. "This isn't the normal world anymore. In the past, if someone forgot their keys, it would be understandable for them to throw the keys to someone. But in this world full of zombies, I definitely wouldn't let strangers in like that."

Li Fatty and Yan Zeke nodded in agreement with Lily's words, which made sense.

"Especially since we are three people, wouldn't he be worried that we might be bad guys?" Li Fatty added.

Yan Zeke thought for a moment and said, "Could it be that he has accomplices, which is why he's so confident?"

Just as he finished speaking, the kitchen door was suddenly opened. Niu Dabao walked in.

"I thought you guys had run off with my student card and key. You're here?" Niu Dabao said, taking back his items from the somewhat dazed Li Fatty.

He looked at the three of them and asked cheerfully, "I've never seen you three before. Are you new here? Did you go on a hike or a bike tour around the UK? Why do you look so ragged?"

Niu Dabao walked to the fridge, took out the milk, and drank it directly from the bottle, finishing the last bit.

Li Fatty and the others stood there, looking at each other, unsure of how to respond.

"Were you sleeping just now? At this time?" Li Fatty didn't answer Niu Dabao's question but asked him curiously.

"Yeah, I've been staying up late playing games lately, so I sleep until the afternoon," Niu Dabao answered, a bit embarrassed.

"Playing games? Online games?" Li Fatty remembered that the internet was long gone, so what was Niu Dabao playing?

"No, not online games. It's The Legend of Sword and Fairy 6. I've been playing it for over a week since it came out, and I haven't finished it yet." Niu Dabao threw the empty milk bottle into the trash and rummaged through the fridge for a bit.

"Looks like we're out of food! Well, I'll have to go to Tesco to buy some. Bye!" Niu Dabao turned and left the kitchen, leaving Li Fatty and the others staring in disbelief.

Buy? What the hell!
