Thank you very much!
It has been a year since then. The big dog that was with me back then is still by my side, lying down majestically. It's peaceful today, isn't it?
Even though the big dog suddenly appeared by my side, my sisters and Marie accepted it easily. Is this the power of God? It's mysterious.
It always eats its food while saying "wafu wafu." I named it Pika, of course, because of its shiny fur like the crying goddess's hair.
It has become a good guard dog and a good companion. But since it was given to me by a goddess, it's not ordinary.
It's an incredibly amazing dog. And it's strong. In my mind, it's the strongest. That's why sometimes it goes with my sisters, who are adventurers, to hunt monsters.
Pika uses scratch attacks. It can also use magic, which is amazing. It sends sharp blades of wind to defeat monsters. I haven't seen it yet.
Also, Pika can store anything. It was very helpful when we were kicked out of the house. Pika stored all the luggage. Thanks to that, we could take many things with us.
Not just our share, but also our parents' valuables and other things from the house. I didn't want to give them to those suspicious uncle and aunt. I didn't want to hand over our parents' things to such people.
Now, when my sisters bring back the monsters they've defeated, Pika is very helpful.
And only I can understand what Pika wants when I touch it. Is it because Pika is a dog given to me by a goddess?
Today, I went out with my sister and brother. That means there might be meat for dinner tonight. I'm looking forward to it.
My sister and brother sometimes go into dungeons for quests, and sometimes they hunt monsters in the nearby forest.
When they defeat monsters in dungeons, the bodies disappear. As usual, the dungeon absorbs them, leaving only the magic stones. So, when they go into dungeons, they don't have to carry a lot of luggage.
If they bring Pika, it means there might be a lot of luggage. They probably plan to hunt monsters in the forest today.
In that case, they will submit the necessary parts like fangs and hides to the guild and bring the meat back home. That's how we get meat.
"Thank you for the meal."
"Oh, Roro-kun. Already finished?"
"Marie, my tummy is full. I'll help clean up."
"Thank you, Roro-kun!"
"Marie, stop calling me 'kun.'"
"Hehehe."
Marie won't stop calling us 'kun' and 'chan' no matter how many times we tell her. Every day, I climb up on a stool to help with the breakfast cleanup because I'm short and can't reach.
Also, my hands are small, so it's quite difficult to wash dishes. My fingers are short and chubby. There's no helping it; I'm only three years old.
"Marie, I'm going out!"
"Nico-kun, don't forget to water the plants!"
"I know!"
"Grandma, I'm going out too."
"Here, Yuria. Take your lunch!"
"Okay, thank you!"
Nico-nii and Marie's granddaughter, Yuria, went out. First, they water the vegetables and herbs they grow around the house. Then, they help with the nearby fields. They are popular... no, important fighters.
Sometimes, they go outside the defensive walls to gather herbs. As long as they don't go near the forest, there aren't any strong monsters. They also sell the herbs to the city's apothecary.
I'm learning to make potions from Leo-nii. Nico-nii grows the basic herbs we need around the house.
For advanced potions, we use herbs that can only be found in dungeons. Leo-nii sometimes gathers them, and we make potions together.
Reia-nee and Leo-nii take them. It's reassuring to have potions in case of emergencies.
"Roro-kun, there's going to be a bazaar at the church soon."
"Bazaar?"
"Yes! Everyone brings various items to sell. It's a good way to earn pocket money!"
"Really?"
"Would you like to sell some embroidered handkerchiefs?"
"Can I sell them?"
"Yes! If they're made by Roro-kun, they'll be fine!"
"Okay, then I'll do it."
"Yes, let's go to the bazaar together with Marie."
"Okay, okay."
In my previous life, I worked in research. I was good at detailed work and enjoyed working quietly on my own.
I also made costumes for my friends' hobbies. I didn't have the courage to do cosplay myself, but I was sometimes asked to make costumes.
Maybe those skills are useful in this life. I made embroidered handkerchiefs with my small hands. Thanks to my previous life, I'm dexterous. Also, I can lightly imbue them with a defensive effect.
The ribbons that Reia-nee and Leo-nii use to tie their hair are imbued with effects, stitch by stitch. The defense isn't strong, though. I'm still a child, so my abilities aren't that high.
It's more like a luck boost. I can't block attacks, but I can sense something bad or feel that one way is better. Still, it should protect them from life-threatening dangers. It might be somewhat useful.
Lately, I've been thinking about making clothes for my sisters when I grow up.
I'm also learning magic from Leo-nii and want to get better at it. I have many ambitions even though I'm only three years old.
