"Are you ready?"

Wearing a black T-shirt, Carey Mulligan stood in front of the chair where James Franco was tied, her doll-like face full of excitement. "Let me know when you're ready."

James Franco felt something was off but still nodded, "I'm ready."

"Please wait a moment." After saying this, Carey Mulligan ran to the temporary prop storage. James Franco was confused, but in less than a minute, the blonde girl ran back, this time carrying a large toolbox. She returned to the chair, placed the toolbox on the ground, and said, "Sorry for the wait, I need to prepare some things."

"Prepare things?" James Franco stared at the toolbox as Carey Mulligan bent down to open it, revealing screwdrivers, pliers, a claw hammer, and wire cutters. "Aren't we just rehearsing?"

"Ah!" Carey Mulligan slapped her forehead, holding a pair of pliers and standing up, tilting her head to look at James Franco. "I need to get into character. I think recreating the scene from the script will help me more."

"Uh..." James Franco didn't know what to say.

Murphy, hiding around the corner, covered his mouth to avoid laughing, still not showing himself. Carey Mulligan was just a naive and rebellious girl raised in a greenhouse, at most she would just prank James Franco.

This was for the best, to keep James Franco calm and avoid causing trouble for the production.

"Can we start now?" James Franco's voice sounded again.

Carey Mulligan, holding the pliers, smiled strangely on her doll-like face, "You're so eager? Let's start now."

With that, she opened the pliers and aimed them directly at James Franco's nose, as if to crush his prominent nose. James Franco instinctively tilted his head back. Fortunately, Carey Mulligan was just a minor and lacked practical experience; the ropes weren't tied too tightly.

The pliers' tips slid over his nose, and James Franco could even feel the cold metal clearly.

"Carey!" His face changed, "What are you doing?"

"What am I doing?" Carey Mulligan retracted the pliers, raised her hand, and struck James Franco's shoulder. The pliers hit hard, and James Franco cried out in pain, shouting, "What are you doing, Carey!"

Carey Mulligan retracted her hand, crossed her arms, and stood opposite James Franco, looking down at him from above, "Giving you the punishment you deserve!"

James Franco looked at her in surprise.

"Do you think I don't know what you're up to?" Carey Mulligan stared at him intently. "James, wake up. Playtime is over; it's time for you to wake up."

Hearing these words, James Franco was shocked inside but kept a calm face, "Carey, what are you talking about? This isn't fun."

Carey Mulligan gave him a mocking smile, turned to the toolbox, put down the pliers, and picked up a hammer and wire cutters. She made a few gestures, but the hammer was too heavy, so she threw it to the floor with a thud.

James Franco watched, his heart churning. He couldn't believe this little girl had noticed his intentions and set up a trap during the rehearsal.

He was still struggling, "What is this? A minor's prank?"

"Minor?" Carey Mulligan, holding the wire cutters, turned around and said as she walked, "Yes! Prank?"

She walked to the chair where James Franco was tied, bent down, and said mockingly, "No!"

"Let me go."

Facing a minor girl, James Franco put on a serious face, "Let me go now."

"Don't move!" Carey Mulligan warned, "Don't move!"

James Franco felt the ropes weren't too tight and struggled hard, "Let me go!"

He had never been toyed with like this before. James Franco opened his mouth to scold, "Carey, don't go too far! Let me go!"

Seeing James Franco not listening, Carey Mulligan reached behind her with her free hand, pulled a spray bottle from the back pocket of her jeans, aimed it at James Franco's open mouth, and pressed the spray button. A white mist shot directly into his mouth.

"Cough... cough..." James Franco coughed violently, even tears and snot streaming down his face, looking truly miserable.

Carey Mulligan showed no sympathy, warning, "If you keep shouting, I'll spray pepper spray instead of water."

James Franco, still shaken, lowered his voice, "Are you crazy?"

"I'm not crazy." Carey Mulligan turned, walked to a sofa, and sat down, "You're the crazy one, you pedophile."

She didn't give James Franco a chance to defend himself, "You don't need to admit or deny it because I see you as a pedophile, and nothing you say will change that!"

"Let me go quickly." James Franco felt like he was stripped naked, trying to change the subject, "Let me go quickly, Murphy is here. What will he think if he sees this?"

"You don't need to worry about that." Carey Mulligan twirled the knife in her hand, looking at him with a playful expression, "Murphy went to town, my tutor left, and the nearest neighbor is hundreds of feet away. You can shout until you're hoarse, and no one will hear you."

James Franco looked at the innocent and cute doll-like face, realizing he had misjudged her. The fire of her soul hid a demonic heart beneath an angelic appearance.

Suddenly, James Franco saw a shadow of someone in Carey Mulligan—Murphy Stanton.

"Other girls might be afraid of you pedophiles, but not me!" Carey Mulligan picked up the script from the sofa and showed it to James Franco, "Murphy already told me how to deal with scum like you."

Her words became faster and more urgent, "From the day you joined the production, I knew you were a bad guy, and I've been thinking of ways to deal with you. Murphy's script is the best way."

"Hey, Carey, listen to me." James Franco loudly defended himself, "The real bad guy is Murphy, not me!"

"Go to hell!"

Hearing him attack her friend, Carey Mulligan picked up the water bottle and threw it directly at James Franco, "You despicable scum, don't you dare slander Murphy!"

Carey Mulligan stood up, opened the wire cutters, and walked step by step toward James Franco.

James Franco struggled harder but couldn't break free, looking at the gleaming blade, "What are you going to do!"
