This is a tough one... the police officers couldn't help but think, but Li Mang's questions were reasonable. They could only passively show their police IDs and a search warrant, which turned out to be in order. However, the content of the search warrant was questionable.

"I need to get something!" Li Mang didn't wait for their permission and went straight back to the room to get his safe. "My lawyer is on his way. We can talk when he arrives." Li Mang didn't want to argue with them; whatever he said now was useless.

A lawyer? The two officers exchanged glances, their eyes showing urgency, and then they moved closer to Li Mang in unison, shouting, "You can't act wild here!"

"What do you want to do? Violent interrogation?" Li Mang stared at them intently.

Li Mang's gaze made the two officers uneasy, but they didn't stop. They tried to grab the safe. Li Mang naturally wouldn't allow it and stood up to resist.

Unexpectedly, the officer with the gloves reacted quickly, pulled out a gun, and placed it in Li Mang's hand, then pointed the gun at his own shoulder and pulled the trigger— "Bang!"

"Ah!" It wasn't a fake gun. The middle-aged officer screamed and crouched down, holding his wound, his hand instantly soaked in blood.

"Police assault!" The other officer 'shouted in shock' and quickly pulled out his gun, aiming to shoot Li Mang.

Despite being cautious, Li Mang didn't expect such a move. Seeing the officer pull out his gun, he instinctively aimed and pulled the trigger— "Bang!"

This time, it wasn't the shoulder but the chest. The middle-aged officer, perhaps never expecting Li Mang's reaction to be so quick, fell to the ground, bleeding from the mouth, and died on the spot!

The officer with the shoulder wound, perhaps not expecting the situation to escalate, was terrified and shouted, "Murder! Murder!"
