Licht entered the area as Feiris had instructed.
There, two High Elves were relaxing.
The older sister was elegantly enjoying a cup of tea, while the younger sister had her head resting on her sister's thigh.
This area was inexplicably overflowing with nature, even featuring a lake.
Without a doubt, it could be called the most beautiful area in this dystopia.
The scene of the High Elves relaxing in such a place was like a painting.
Licht was momentarily captivated, forgetting his purpose.
"Big sister, big sister, we have a guest."
"Oh, really? I'm sorry for not being prepared."
"N-no, it's fine, please don't worry about it..."
The younger sister, who was using her sister's lap as a pillow, was the first to notice Licht. She shook her short blonde hair and stood up gracefully.
The older sister also stood up, her long blonde hair swaying as the weight on her thigh disappeared.
(The younger one is Iris, and the older one is Tise... right?)
Licht made sure to remember their names correctly, repeating them in his head several times.
Since they were sisters, their atmospheres were quite similar, and he might easily confuse them if he let his guard down.
"Mr. Licht, right?"
"Huh? How do you know—"
"I overheard your conversation with the Demon King. I didn't mean to eavesdrop."
While he was thinking about this, the distance between them gradually closed.
Before he knew it, they were right in front of him.
"So, what brings you to such a place?"
"Big sister, big sister. I think they came to check on us."
"Oh dear... I'm really sorry."
Before Licht could answer, the two of them had already finished their conversation.
His original purpose was to ask about the guardian areas, but it seemed like it might end up just being a visit to check on them.
"Um... I came to conduct a survey to reduce everyone's burden—"
"Burden...? Big sister, what should we do?"
"Let's hear more about it."
At the word "burden," their expressions seemed to change.

"I see. You've stepped up for us, Mr. Licht."
After explaining, Tise nodded in understanding.
While not as reactive as Feiris, she seemed willing to cooperate.
Even in this serene area, the burden was still present.
"Isn't it true that you two are responsible for this area?"
"Yes."
"If that's the case, perhaps you could divide the roles, and one of you could take on another area—"
"No way!"
Before Licht could finish his suggestion, a clear rejection came from Iris, who was behind Tise.
Iris's grip on Tise's clothes tightened even more.
"…That's the situation. Besides, Iris and I function better together, so it might not be practical to separate us."
"…I understand."
Here, a problem arose that Licht hadn't anticipated.
Simply dividing the roles wouldn't solve this issue.
If they functioned better together, breaking that bond would be a foolish act.
"I'll think about it some more."
"Please don't overwork yourself, and take care of your health."
"Iris will support you... do your best."
He felt both distant and closer to solving the problem.
As Tise and Iris saw him off, Licht headed to the fourth servant.
