Eunseo must have been deathly ill because Jihwan expected her to protest at least a little. But all Kang Eunseo could do was pant in pain with her eyes closed.

Realizing this was an emergency situation. Jihwan ran toward the staff room. It was dark, so he flicked the light switch, but the light wouldn’t turn on. Suddenly, he got a bad feeling. Jihwan managed to find the emergency button, but when he pressed it, nothing happened. He pressed it a few times, but again, nothing happened.

Something must have been wrong. Either the guard accidentally turned off the switch, or there was something wrong with the electrical because they were in the middle of the construction.

It seemed that Kang Eunseo couldn’t even speak anymore. With her eyes clenched shut, she shook her head.

Jihwan tried to remember when he suffered from the flu. He had a fever and chill, but the worst part of it was the muscle ache.

“Would you like me to massage your arms maybe?”

When Jihwan reached out toward her, Eunseo flinched and pulled away. But by accident, his hand grazed Eunseo’s breast.

“Ackk!” Eunseo screamed.

It wasn’t from surprise but pure pain.

“I…I’m sorry. Are you okay?”

When Jihwan asked, Eunseo couldn’t even answer. All she could do was hug herself and tremble.

“…” Tears rolled down her pale cheeks.

It was Jihwan who was more shocked. It wasn’t like he hit her or anything. His hand just grazed her lightly, so why did it cause her so much pain?
