Chapter 3: I kissed Wife!

So rabbits cry like this.

An Xingzhou thought expressionlessly.

Peng Ci was crying extremely hard. Tears were falling one by one from its round eyes, all dripping onto the fluffy fur on its chest. It wasn’t long before the fur on its chest became wet, sticking together in tufts. It even raised its paws to rub its face from time to time, sneakily raising its eyes to look at An Xingzhou.

It buried its nose excitedly into An Xingzhou’s thigh, sniffing An Xingzhou’s scent, saying generously though its words were muffled, “You can rub anywhere! Because I’m Wife’s bunny bun!”

An Xingzhou: “…”

An Xingzhou looked at Peng Ci absorbed in sniffing his thigh, intoxicated, its round tail shaking continuously. His hand, which was going to ruffle the rabbit’s fur, somehow couldn’t do it.

This rabbit… An Xingzhou thought, This demon rabbit is so perverted!!

Throw it away , An Xingzhou thought as he lowered his head, seeing the little bunny kicking its legs and pulling on his shirt as it climbed upwards.

“Wife!” Peng Ci shook its tail and puffed a few times, telling An Xingzhou, “I really like Wife!”

Only those who tried it would know the feeling of a little pet clinging to you and saying it likes you.

Longing flooded An Xingzhou’s heart. He silently extended a finger to touch the little bunny’s head and pushed it back down quickly.

Whatever, demons probably couldn’t be sterilized. He’d keep raising it for a few days and find it a female rabbit.

With the way Peng Ci was clinging onto him without letting go, it appeared that he couldn’t kick the rabbit out. Since he couldn’t kick it out, then he’d just raise it for now.

An Xingzhou planned to find a beautiful female rabbit. Peng Ci would probably immediately change wives then.

After all, only members of the same species could love. But he didn’t know if demon rabbits and real rabbits had any reproductive isolation 1 . If they really gave birth to little bunnies, would the little bunnies be half bunny and half demon?

An Xingzhou said speechlessly, “No.”

Peng Ci stood up and jumped a few times on the original spot, leaping onto the pillow with a “mmph”. Immediately after, it jumped onto An Xingzhou’s shoulder and squatted, rubbing An Xingzhou’s neck with its head. “Wife, buy some more snacks for me!”

“…” So shameless. Freeloading and even making demands.

An Xingzhou wanted to curse, but his shoulder was warm, and his neck was itchy from the rubbing. The curse words just strangely disappeared.

“You really are an expensive rabbit.” An Xingzhou criticized verbally, but his body was extremely honest, typing “rabbit snacks” in the search box in front of Peng Ci, clicking on descending price order, and confirming the search.

In the next second, the pictures and words loaded together, and the entire world fell silent.

Shredded roasted rabbit, spicy rabbit head, whole smoked rabbit, five spice spicy rabbit leg, spicy diced rabbit meat.

“Coo coo coo!!” A rumbling sound came from Peng Ci’s throat. It suddenly bent upwards to sit on An Xingzhou’s shoulders, its ears tightly sticking backward on its own body, screaming tragically, “Bunny buns are so cute! How could people eat bunny buns?!”

“It was an idea from a hundred years ago. Is it because there are too many bunnies in your family that the internet speed isn’t great?” An Xingzhou criticized while quickly swiping downwards on the screen with his finger, only stopping when he swiped to normal rabbit snacks. “Here. Choose yourself?”

Peng Ci isn’t choosing. Peng Ci feels bad.

Peng Ci rolled down from An Xingzhou’s shoulders with a swoosh , rolling onto An Xingzhou’s chest and curling into a large trembling fluff ball. “Sob sob. Wife…I’m scwared…”

Peng Ci crazily burrowed into An Xingzhou’s chest. Only after burrowing for a long while did it extend a paw to cling onto An Xingzhou’s clothes, continuously puffing, “Wife, hug me… I don’t want to be eaten sob sob… I’m a good bunny bun…”

“Okay okay okay. Ci Ci is a good bunny bun.” An Xingzhou felt Peng Ci trembling extremely hard on his chest and finally realized that this rabbit wasn’t just finding an excuse to act spoiled with him; it was really scared. So he hurriedly hugged Peng Ci, feeling a bit regretful about his rashness.

An Xingzhou hugged Peng Ci and smoothed its fur, pinching the tips of its ears from time to time and poking its little cheeks, comforting it gently. “No one will eat you, okay? Don’t be scared.”

Peng Ci was still so scared, it was puffing. Hearing An Xingzhou’s words, it slowly straightened its body, letting An Xingzhou touch it, asking in a baby-like voice, “Will Wife protect me?”

“I will, I will.” An Xingzhou pinched the little paw Peng Ci was grabbing his clothes with. It was soft and warm, and he couldn’t resist saying, “I will properly protect you.”

Peng Ci finally stopped trembling and puffing. It laid on An Xingzhou’s chest with its four legs in the air and belly facing upwards, telling An Xungzhou, “Wife, lower your head!”

“Hm? What’s wrong?” An Xingzhou thought Peng Ci was going to whisper something to him and bent down. But Peng Ci immediately hopped up on the spot, standing up with its front paws in front of its chest, and quickly licked An Xingzhou’s lips.

An Xingzhou: “…”

Peng Ci laid back down humming, very pleased with itself as it said, “I kissed Wife!”
