Oreo’s consciousness was a mess.

Gu Xin’s black uniform was without wrinkles like someone had ironed it for him every day.

He didn’t eat this morning and he had missed lunch because he was called to Director Jiang’s office. His blood sugar level was very low.

Maybe his head had been kicked stupid.

He took a step forward and his vision went dark. He strained himself but couldn’t see anything.

He seemed to have stumbled into Gu Xin’s arms. Or maybe Gu Xin came to support him.

When he opened his eyes again, he was lying in the infirmary.

His head was wrapped up with bandages. Gu Xin was holding a pack of Oreos. He took one out and gave it to Oreo—every time his blood sugar level was low, he would eat this.

Oreo didn’t take it, he only stared at Gu Xin.

“Where’s the nurse?” Oreo asked.

“Said you’ll wake up soon and went home.” Gu Xin said.

Gu Xin smiled. He stuffed the Oreo into Oreo’s mouth.

Oreo was like a hamster as he chewed.

“Is that transfer student alright?” He asked after swallowing the Oreo.

“Not so good, but not as bad as you.” Gu Xin turned on his phone and opened up the Wechat group. In the group, the students were making remarks to attack Luo Ya. He showed it to Oreo.

The students of Class Five sure were as united as ever.

“She’s a girl so Lu Hao didn’t touch her but Zhang Wenqi is another story.” Gu Xin continued to say.

“That…” Oreo pretended to be anxious and acted as if he was going to get out of bed to find Luo Ya.

He looked deeply concerned for Luo Ya.

Gu Xin stopped him and said: “Zhang Wenqi is brainwashing her right now. She’s telling her all about your licentious history as a MB and is persuading her to stay away from you.”

Which means, that □□ still haven’t done anything to Luo Ya yet.

“I’m not.” Oreo looked at Gu Xin and said seriously.

“Is that important?”

Of course I know you’re not.

“Why do you hurt me like this?”

“I’ve already explained it to you.”

Oreo lowered his eyes. Maybe it was from the wound on his head or perhaps he had been hurt by Gu Xin’s words.

It’s amazing how effective this is. Oreo thought in his heart.

“Gu Xin, don’t be like this…I really don’t have anything left…” Oreo shook his head, his head still lowered dejectedly.

Wow, this tone also gets a full mark. Oreo surprised himself even with how well he could control his tone.

Like he wanted, Gu Xin felt like his heart was being gripped.

“Are you begging me?” Gu Xin’s voice was lazy; ridiculing even.

Yeah, I’m begging you.

It’s so obvious.

Gu Xin propped his elbow on the bed and rested his face on his hand. Oreo sat on the infirmary bed. The two looked at each other.

Oreo swore, this was the first time he had done something like this.

He leaned towards Gu Xin and pecked him on the cheek.

Gu Xin’s eyes froze.

Oreo’s tie had been lost during the beating. At this moment, the two buttons on his shirt were undone, revealing exquisite clavicles and fair, clean skin.

Oreo saw that he wasn’t reacting and decided to act even more boldly. He kissed his ear.

Gu Xin shivered.

His ears were his weak points. Oreo rubbed it and seemed to be saying something suggestive into it. The hot air from his mouth made Gu Xin’s ear even more sensitive.

Oreo felt that it must be his first time being kissed like this.

Oreo straightened himself up and gazed at Gu Xin with limpid eyes.

Look, how obvious his ulterior motive was.

Like he was only doing it so he could receive Gu Xin’s protection.

Gu Xin was stunned for a moment before smiling.

“Hah.”

Gu Xin stood up and walked towards the door.

He locked the doors of the infirmary.

Gu Xin took off his jacket and tossed it onto the chair.

Gu Xin saw that Oreo had curled up like before when he was being bullied.

“Continue ah, don’t stop.” Gu Xin undid his tie as well and said, “Want to try this?”

Gu Xin had already unfastened all the buttons on his shirt. He reached out his hands to undo Oreo’s too.

He was always afraid and treated everything the same.

Oreo gripped the hand Gu Xin stretched out and used his other hand to quickly pick up the jacket Gu Xin had placed on the chair. He wrapped it tightly around Gu Xin, treating him like a young girl that had just been rescued.

“I…I was joking.”

“Oh, too late.”

“Do you really take me for a MB? Gu Xin.”

“You delivered yourself.”

Gu Xin then kissed him, making Oreo unable to say a word.

“What are you doing?”

Oreo didn’t know if he was asking himself or Gu Xin.

“Can’t you tell? Patronizing you, of course.”

Gu Xin bit the clavicle he had been desiring and made a hickey.

“Don’t, don’t, don’t…hiss…Gu Xin, I’ll smoke again with you, okay? So don’t be like this.”

There was the sound of a key being inserted into the lock. Both of them froze.

“Why won’t it open?” They heard the puzzled voice of the school nurse.

Fuck, didn’t you say the school nurse went home?

Oreo resisted his awkwardness. He saw that Gu Xin was still stunned so he helped him fasten his buttons one by one. He then buttoned his own, making sure to do it all the way to the top so no one could see anything strange.

The door was opened. The school nurse asked: “You guys still haven’t left? Is your head better?”

“Haha, I’m fine. We were just about to leave.”

As they talked, they learned that the school nurse had come back to get the car key. Oreo had a stiff expression but Gu Xin appeared calm and natural.

It was already the end of the school day.

“You skipped an entire afternoon’s worth of classes.” When Oreo returned to the classroom to pack his things, he discovered that everyone had already left.

“It’s just math and physics class. It’s not interesting to listen to them talk idly anyway.”

“Oh.”

So you also know what a disgrace the math and physics teachers were.

I thought you were all blind.

Gu Xin casually packed the things on his desk and left. However, when Oreo came downstairs, Gu Xin was still waiting by the school’s entrance.

He was handsome if he looked at him from far away. His legs were long and slender— as expected a man looks the best in suits.

You also know there’s no point in keeping up the act, Gu Xin?

When Gu Xin saw him coming down, he tilted his head and looked at him from a distance then turned around and left.

There were many people standing at the school’s entrance. They were the students of Class Five and Class Six.

They were brother classes that became even more united when dealing with someone together.

Oreo walked forward step by step. The eyes of those people grew increasingly cold and cruel.

Oreo took out the remaining Oreo cookie from his pocket; he placed it in his mouth and chewed it. He walked forwards as he ate the cookie.

Back then when his family was still wealthy, he was very proud of himself and loved to be on the stage, directing everything.

He had walked leisurely like this onto the stage.

This kind of leisureliness had been lost to him for too long.

Zhang Wenqi held a cup of milk tea in her hand. Her smile was very gentle when she said: “Go to Gardenia Alley to take care of this.”

At the school’s entrance, people were constantly walking in and out. It wasn’t convenient to step on your face.

Gardenia Alley wasn’t far from the school. Oreo could be considered a frequent visitor there.

Two guys grabbed Oreo’s arms. They looked at a group of buddies with their arms around each other, but he was trapped.
