I visited Mani’s smithery the next morning to see her progress.

Laid on top of the desk was a battle hammer with a large pommel that was seemingly completed by Mani last night.

The jade green radiance of badon(battle copper) enshrouded all of its parts.

「Is the new enchanted vessel made from Badon(battle copper), Ogre’s battle bone, and Solus’ demon core?」

Mani was grinning from ear to ear as she replied.

「It is. I’ve tried to check its stats with 《Imu》 before but, it’s certified by god to be a C tier enchanted vessel. I mean, there’s a time when the craftsman messed up in their creation even with really good materials. I’m a bit nervous since this is my second time in my life crafting C tier enchanted vessel. Its name is 《Evil Spirit’s Battle Hammer; Gadras》.」

I looked at 《Evil Spirit’s Battle Hammer; Gadras》 again.

One side of the pommel was a hammer head because it was used for striking, while the other side was sharpened like a tip of spear for stabbing.

And then, at the cross-section between shaft and the hammer head, she made Badon(battle copper) in the form of ogre’s head holding Solus’ demon core in its mouth, truly an exaggerated design.

「With 《Flame Hammer; Kaguna》, I had no choice but to use E rank alchemy but, I can use up to C rank alchemy with 《Evil Spirit’s Battle Hammer; Gadras》. As expected of the devil with rare mid-tier alchemy skill.」

「T-That great?」

「Yeah, this battle hammer might be a combat oriented weapon but… since it has more powerful stats than 《Flame Hammer; Kaguna》, Gadras is also a better choice for smithing. I can also mine minerals in demon labyrinth with 《Evil Spirit’s Battle Hammer; Gadras》 if I find one.」

When it comes to mining minerals in demon labyrinth, the level of miner and quality of the enchanted vessel become more important.

The usefulness of high tier enchanted vessel became more apparent since the miner has to use high tier alchemy to mine more precious minerals, the reason for that was because it greatly shortened the mining time since staying for a long time in the demon labyrinth was simply suicide.

That’s why there was no need to feel irritated because we have to abandon the high tier minerals which we found in the demon labyrinth as long as we have this 《Evil Spirit’s Battle Hammer; Gadras》.

… Nonetheless, it’s not like I ever found something that resembled precious minerals in the demon labyrinth during my years of experience as a porter, nor did I know whether they’re precious or not.

For this reason, learning magic without an enchanted vessel couldn’t even count as learning.

Naturally, the degree of difficulties for each person to learn magic was varying, though mostly came from level and aptitude, there’s also a case in which the middle aged user of enchanted vessel had suddenly gained enlightenment of high ranking magic when they became a thirty year old virgin.

You might even say that level was also playing an important role in this case.

Personal information and enchanted vessel’s information was the lifeline for every adventurer.

「… But of course, I just wanted to show off the C rank enchanted vessel that I crafted to someone…」

Mani shrugged her shoulder as she shut down my retreat path.

J-Just when I thought our conversation was heading toward a strange direction… it turned out she only wanted to show off her new weapon.

Well, Mani was the kind of girl who always kept her composure no matter what, extremely prudent, and her insight was always one step ahead of me.

But, maybe because of the blacksmith blood flowing in her veins, she often becomes too passionate when it comes to minerals and smithing.

「T-That’s why, since you’ve managed to create one after such trouble…」

「Is this matter still weighing in your mind?」

Mani asked with a delighted face.

I pointed the tip of 《Demon Eater Sword; Beelzera》 to the enchanted hammer, and invoked 《Imu》.

And then… I wonder what is this “Ogre Fighting Spirit”.

If we’re goign by its name, it should be related to ogre but… let’s check it out for the time being.

「Fufufu, right? This is one of the best amongst the ones I crafted. With the increase of my level, soon enough I should be able to craft C tier enchanted vessels… When that time has come, will you allow me to take out Beelzebub-chan’s demon core to craft a more suitable enchanted vessel for you? I mean, we still have that Maimalg(Demon Snail Metal), and you can purchase an appropriate battle bone after you save more money.」

「I-I see now… Well, I guess I’ll save my money little by little. But, I think I’ll use this 《Demon Eater Sword; Beelzera》 for a while longer.」

「Is that so?」

… Though I couldn’t deny that I would replace my enchanted vessel with a new one once I leveled high enough, to be honest, I couldn’t imagine myself rich enough to do that so many times.

I mean, I still have to pay back my 200k temis loan to Edda.

… But well, our labyrinth capture’s efficiency should’ve increased with the addition of Mani in our party.

Since Mani was a miner-slash-porter, I could also make full use of the chance when she increased her level in the shallow floor of demon labyrinth to steal useful abilities from the other demon beast.

Moreover, with the addition of Mani, our sources of income aren’t just limited to battle bone, we could gain additional income from mining the minerals.

As long as the situation allowed it, I could also switch places with Mani to become a temporary porter while she fought as the vanguard to raise her level.

Leveling up will be faster if we fought against a demon beast whose level was higher than us.

That’s why, Mani should be able to defeat a demon beast below 【Lv:20】 with her new enchanted battle hammer.
