2 Nothing Beats the Excitement of Starting a New Game!

Now then, today was July 31st, the night before MonSta opens up its servers and finally, the long-awaited software for MonSta had arrived

Incidentally, the reason why it was delivered a day prior to service starting was so people could parse it just before the game actually opened. Still, would there actually be someone who could analyze a software from Magicraft?

Let’s put that aside for now.

This is concerning, there must’ve been a mistake somewhere.

In front of me was MonSta’s software. Two of them. In regards to that, I only applied for one slot, so one of them must’ve been the copy that I earned. Winning raffles was one of my other specialties after all.

Then, the problem now is the other copy. In any case, I should confirm who the sender is.

“Let’s see…… ah, here it is. Magicraft Company…… Magicraft Company!?”

I read the note attached to the package as my hands trembled from the unexpectedness of it all.

“On this occasion, you’ve given us a very valuable opinion regarding our company’s software. Thank you very much.

It’s not much but if you could accept this as a gift, we’d be very much delighted.

Mongrel Stacker Representative Developer, Agaho Masaru.”

Hmm, I see. Let’s regain my composure first. Stay cool, me, stay cool.

At times like this, it’s important to have a grasp of the situation at hand.

Appeal email sent -> They added support for it -> They sent another software in addition as a reward.

…… I can’t even make sense out of the last exchange anymore but at any rate,

“Aren’t they too generous?”

Scary. It’s frightening to the point where you’d be suspicious over their motives. It’s scary, but…… let’s just compliantly accept this gift. There should be a limit on how sudden a situation could be. Yet, I now have two copies of MonSta.

“Touka!”

“So even if you didn’t register, you’d still get a copy. Onee-chan, you’re just way too you.”

“Oi, what’s that supposed to mean.”

After explaining what had transpired earlier to Touka, this was the response that I got. Since when did I become an adjective?

“That said, are you also going to play?”

“Eh, ah, well…… I’ll be busy with club activities so I won’t be able to play together with you that often.”

“That’s A-Okay! I planned on mostly soloing anyways”

I can actually just do everything by myself and I’m already aware that I’m bad at playing with parties too.

“Ahh, even if Onee-chan had leadership, her followers is nonexistent.”

My little sister’s being quite ruthless, even though I’ve been acting like a nice older sister for a while now. I guess its time to make stir-fry vegetables for dinner and add in a bunch of the bell peppers that Touka hates.

“F-For some reason, I got the chills just now…… Well, if that’s how it is, maybe I’ll play too.”

“That so? Here you go then.”

“Thanks, I wanted to play but didn’t have the money for it.”

Anyhow, with that all done, let’s head to sleep for tomorrow.

Now, it’s finally here. Today, or tomorrow rather, is the opening day!

As of currently, it’s 11:00. The servers open at 12:00, so there’s still a bit of time left.

Maybe I should at least go ahead and make my character first.

I inserted the software for MonSta into the VR device and attached it to the headgear.

By the way, this copy of the software was the one I got from Magicraft and I gave Touka the one that I bought.

After loading for about a minute, it switched over to the title screen.

At last, I’ll be starting my new life in MonSta!
