She noticed a man shivering with his face buried in a pillow under the table lamp that softly lit up the dark bedroom. It was Kaus.

“…… Did you hear what I said?”

Klaus straightened his back in response to Meriel’s question.

“Hmmm…yeah.”

Meriel’s face flushed in an instant as she watched him attempt to respond calmly to her with a smile.

“If you’re listening, you should make your presence known!”

“You were the one who spoke up at the door.”

“Nevertheless!”

Meriel’s embarrassment washed over her, and she placed the tray of sandwiches on the bedside table. She only looked at small sandwiches that she could eat in one bite.

She retied the laces of her gown, which she had loosened in her embarrassment.

“How is your health?”

“I’m fine, but how’s your arm?”

One of his arms was bandaged and fixed, as if he were in a cast.

“There appears to be a minor crack in the bone.”

“Is it painful?”

“It does hurt.”

“I’m glad your left arm is okay.”

Klaus smirked as Meriel sat down by his bedside.

“This is the first time I’ve heard that my left arm is perfectly fine.”

“Aren’t you moving according to your will?”

“Yes.”

“Then it’s fine, isn’t it?”

Meriel picked up a sandwich as if she were discussing something uninteresting. She wanted to feed him to help him recover from his injury, but in Meriel’s memory, Klaus’ left arm was still intact enough for him to feed himself.

Let’s just sit and eat a sandwich.

“Aren’t you going to feed me?” Klaus asked.

“Use your left hand to eat it.”

“Aren’t you supposed to be here to feed me?”

“No.”

“I heard everything.”

“You’ve got to be hallucinating.”

Meriel shook her head and placed the sandwich plate in front of him.

Because of Klaus’s constant smirking, Meriel desired to return to her bedroom as soon as possible. But she felt like she was losing to him if she ran away like that.

Klaus grabbed Meriel’s arm while her pouty face bit her lip.

“All right, ah.”

“What are you up to?”

“I’ll do it, so please feed me.”

“Are you a kid?”

“Oh, yes, I am.”

Klaus slightly opened his mouth, waiting for the sandwich to arrive. Meriel knew he was acting this way because he was afraid of being embarrassed.

When he teased someone, he didn’t show his true feelings.

It was a pleasant sensation.

This was a particularly enjoyable moment for him.

Meriel couldn’t help but burst out laughing when she sensed Klaus’ emotions.

“Are you the monster grand duke?”

Meriel sandwiched her sandwich between his gaping lips. Klaus nodded as he chewed his sandwich. He shrugged his shoulders as if he were a monster grand duke, no matter what she said.

“You look like a child.” she said, smiling.

“In my opinion, you are.”

“In what ways do I resemble a child?”

Meriel took the sandwich once more and placed it in his mouth. He smiled once more and ate it. The mother bird appeared to be feeding the baby bird.

If it was this man, she intended to feed him in the future.

“It’s similar to this.”

“Rather, I’m just feeding the patient.”

“You are so innocent at times like this.”

“Do I really resemble that?”

“Yes.” Klaus responded with a firm stance.

Meriel nodded easily as she remembered how much she had teased him in the meantime.

“I’ve been a fool for 14 years, and I can’t pretend to be innocent.”

“No, I’m certain.”

Meriel cocked her head slightly and shifted the empty plate to her side.

“Can you show me something that isn’t pure or innocent?”

“No.”

“Aren’t we married, Klaus?”

Meriel leaned against his bed, swinging her left arm.

“Shall we do something impure?” she asked.

“No, that’s fine.”

Klaus reached for his book, which had been lying on his table, to avoid the touch of her Meriel.

The soft light didn’t make it difficult to see ahead, but it was too dark to read the book. Nonetheless, he opened the book. It was as if he could go back in time and read a book.

But when she saw him like that, she swallowed her laughter. She felt embarrassment and confusion from him, but so did his expectations and desires.

“Klaus, what are you looking for?”

“Hey, I’m reading a book.”

“I’m here.”

“Is that so?”

“Wasn’t it late at night?”

“Well, then… Please return to your room.”

“I’m going to spend the night here.”

“What?”

He raised his head, widening the pinned-to-the-book eyes.

Meriel suppressed her laughter when she saw his ripe red face.

Confusion, agitation, and his excitement have all been conveyed.

“What a man and a woman have to do in the middle of the night…You know, right?”

She gently touched his bare chest, which could be seen through his robe.

He looked at Meriel with ferocious eyes, as if he was embarrassed.

“It was said that with words comes responsibility,” he murmured.

“…….”

“I’m sure I told you before.”

Klaus used his uncast left arm to wipe Meriel’s lips. It was a light and careful touch. It was an entirely different demeanor than his scorching eyes and low, manly voice.

He was always more concerned with Mariel than with himself. He clung to his instincts and endured it to keep her from fleeing.

“Yeah, weren’t you the one who taught them that?” she murmured.

Meriel sticks out her tongue and licks his finger on her lips, as if playing a prank. He tried to snatched his finger away from her lips, and she sucked it in, he let out a moan.

Meriel loosened the tight laces of her gown and slowly climbed onto his bed as he took his hand away with startled eyes.

“You’re hurt, Klaus.”

She slyly turned her head as she sat on top of him, who was leaning against his bed.

She only licked his fingers, but she could feel his big one beneath the robe.

Meriel swallowed her dry saliva as she remembered the monster she had seen from their first night. She noticed his reddened face and red ripe ears that seemed to burst into his eyes at that moment.

Meriel placed her hands on his shoulders gradually. She licked his red ears while bowing her head. She could feel the softness of the earlobe as it warmed up.

She could feel him inhaling.

It was charming to see him grasping the duvet with his left hand. Meriel bit him softly on the earlobe, just like in a scene from a lewd book she’d read the day before.

His lips once more emitted the ferocious beast’s voice.

“Meriel.” He called out her name, as if to warn her to come to a halt.

Meriel gently kissed the corners of his eyes as she looked at them, which were hot and red with desire.

He trembled at her slow movement. When she saw it, she felt the shivering spread throughout his body.

Meriel raised her lips and smiled at Klaus, who kept his mouth shut and suppressed his reason.

She yanked on her gown’s slack laces. Her naked body was visible through the robe. Meriel gradually raised her knees and pressed her body against his face.

“Klaus, kids don’t behave like this.”

“……”

“You can see that I am not a child.”

“……”

Klaus was cut off just as he was getting used to the smell of her body filling his face. She could feel the lust radiating from him and smiled seductively.

“How about you?”
