“Yes, I am. So what?” No sooner had she finished talking than Gu Yeze planted a kiss on her lips.

He kissed her ardently.

This time Bai Weijin neither dodged nor struggled. Instead, she hugged him and returned his kiss.

She couldn’t tell at which point things about the man began to affect her feelings and when she lost her heart to him.

Gu Yeze clutched the back of her head before she had a chance to catch her breath.

Bai Weijin was almost out of breath, “Well, Gu Yeze.”

Gu Yeze finally ended the kiss without letting go of her. He kept a tight hold on Bai Weijin’s body and fixed his glistening eyes on her. Bai Weijin said, “Let’s go inside to see some fun.”

“Good suggestion,” replied Gu Yeze.

There was total chaos in the hall.

Yan Sheng was rushed to hospital by his family. Everybody was talking about the event, and even Bai Yinya who was then carrying on in the back garden also heard the noises and came over.

She couldn’t make heads or tails out of what had happened. Nevertheless, the sight of Bai Weijin who looked sober-minded and Gu Yeze made her grow slightly uneasy.

Bai Weijin opened her mouth first, “Dear sister, are you still in the mood for the excitement after your husband was taken to hospital, I wonder?”

Yan Sheng? What happened to him?

Bai Yinya felt that the way things developed seemed to get out of control.

“Show them the video,” ordered Gu Yeze aside.

Intuition told Bai Yinya it would be harmful to her. Her heart missed a beat as she thought the video was probably about her private deal with the waitress.

The rest of the people were curious. One thing led to another, and they could hardly react to the series of events.

Bai Yinya wanted to stop them, but any order from Gu Yeze demanded strict enforcement. She had no choice but to stare desperately at the screen in the center of the stage.

There was an extraordinary scene, and she almost fainted.

The video showed that Yan Sheng fiercely licked and stroked a woman’s body, and that the woman who pretended to struggle actually pandered to his passion.

The crowd burst into an uproar. Though the identity of the woman was currently unknown, she was surely not Bai Yinya.

Bai Weijin looked at her sister. Her countenance changed repeatedly and awkwardly in an instant.

“I remember it well; Yan Sheng and Bai Yinya got married last month. How could he have an affair so soon?”

“God knows! Well, do you remember their wedding…”

“Of course I do. The news was in the headlines, even hotter than that of President Gu and Miss Bai’s wedding.”

People whispered under their breath around Bai Yinya, who was acutely embarrassed at present.

“Yinya!” Du Meihua’s voice rang out.

Bai Yinya slightly came alive when she heard her mom’s sound. Du Meihua, together with two hired thugs, had been waiting for Bai Weijin on the second floor, to find that she had never gone upstairs.

The truth suddenly dawned on Du Meihua. She rushed over.

Yet it was too late. Their plot made her and her daughter a laughing stock.

They felt as though they were being treated as outcasts.

Bai Weijin remained unmoved. Just let them stew in their own juice.

Before she made reprisals against them, those two should have the guts to plot against her. Since they liked to play with fire, Bai Weijin didn’t mind facilitating their loss of all standing and reputation.

Anyway, on the surface, they were still Bai Weijin’s family. How come she didn’t greet them?

Bai Weijin took several steps forwards and squatted down. Bai Yinya snuggled up to her mother and eyed Bai Weijin suspiciously, as if ready to rush over in a second and end up perishing with Bai Weijin.

Bai Weijin spoke, “Aunt Du, Yinya, how about sitting up first?”

She deliberately enunciated each word slowly, whispering a word in their ears, “If you had known this day must come, would you repent long of your evildoings?”

Her words made Bai Yinya and Du Meihua go weak at the knees. Bai Yinya bawled out at the top of her voice, “You stupid bitch! What did you do to us?”

Before Bai Weijin answered her back, Gu Yeze who remained silent came forward and pressed Bai Weijin to him. He gave Bai Yinya a cold stare.

“Don’t you dare talk to her like that!”

Bai Yinya looked up at Gu Yeze, her body suddenly going limp. She was choking with fear and stuck for words.

“I’m not in the habit of beating a woman, but if you can’t bite your tongue, I don’t mind teaching you a lesson in your mother’s place.” Du Meihua, scolded for bringing up her child in the wrong way, trembled with fear.

The farce ended up with a flock of guests gossiping about it.

As to the truth behind the scandal, no one would like to find it out. In short, Yan Sheng was caught cheating on his wife after they were married for less than one month, and Bai Yinya once again became the butt of everyone’s jokes.

So did the whole Bai family.

Her eyes feasted enough on the sensation, Bai Weijin pulled at Gu Yeze’s sleeve, “Let’s go.”

Gu Yeze took her arms and stepped outside. He was more interested in sharing intimacies with Bai Weijin than facing those two buffoons.

As soon as they got in the car, Gu Yeze held Bai Weijin in his arms and continued the unfinished intimacy.

The driver was still there. Bai Weijin patted Gu Yeze on the back and hinted to him with a wink.

Gu Yeze would like not to stop. He was certain that the driver had no guts to turn around.

Of course the driver hadn’t. He backed the car and drove to their home.

A question suddenly flashed through Bai Weijin’s brain. She gently broke away from Gu Yeze, which caused him unhappiness.

“Hands off my waist. Tell me, why did you beat Yan Sheng up?” Gu Yeze was brought to account. After the farce caused by Bai Yinya and her mother, Bai Weijin almost forgot the matter.

Gu Yeze looked ill at ease and hesitated to answer her question.

Bai Weijin’s face fell. Just as she pulled his arm away, Gu Yeze reached out and hugged her close.

“I heard some noises and assigned my people to find out what had happened. They told me later that Bai Yinya asked someone to serve you drugged wine, which, though, was accidentally drunk by Yan Sheng who intended to harrass you…”

At the mention of the man, Gu Yeze flew into a rage.

Yan Sheng, Bai Yinya, Du Meihua. No matter what they planned separately, he would never let them off.

Bai Weijin poked him in the chest, “So you ordered your people to give him punches?”

Gu Yeze nodded. In his eyes, the punishment was rather light for Yan Sheng.

Bai Weijin beamed with satisfaction. Seeing her smile, Gu Yeze pinned her against the seat and looked at her with a mischievous grin, “Why do you care so much about it?”

Bai Weijin blushed scarlet, yet she was reluctant to admit it, “That woman was quite disgusting and annoying. I have a duty to pull you out of the abyss.”

Gu Yeze laughed heartily and dropped a gentle kiss on her lips. They kissed for a moment, and then Gu Yeze spoke lightly, “I never said I like her.”
