Lu Chengye had impatiently watched Hang Hang as Big Black for five years. Back then, if there was even a slight chance of him becoming human, he probably would have thrown Zhang Hang down regardless of anything else. However, he was now a human being. If it wasn’t for his previous injury, then with Hang Hang sleeping so lovably by his side each night, how could he not have started anything?
Now, his injury was finally healed and the problem between the two had been resolved. Tonight, Lu Chengye had in fact come with the mission of pushing Zhang Hang down, but now… he couldn’t make a move on him.
What? He was a man so he should make a move? Come on. As a man, he could only bark.
Anyone who saw Hang Hang leaning into his embrace would want to make a move. His face filled with trust after hearing his promise, and the haze brought by Zhao Xiaolian’s reappearance was swept away. Now, all over his face were the words, “I’m safe because Big Black is here, if Big Black doesn’t care if I become a schemer then I’m not afraid of anything, and I have Big Black so I can sleep until dawn”. Seeing this expression, Lu Chengye could not start anything even if he suffocated.
So, all he could do was look at Hang Hang’s sleeping face and endure in silence, unable to make a move. Presently he couldn’t even take a cold shower because Hang Hang was sleeping so peacefully. Because he was overthinking things, Zhang Hang hadn’t slept well recently. How could his partner not know of this? He was unwilling to affect Zhang Hang’s sleep for some unspeakable reason.
All he could do was grit his teeth and endure.
Zhang Hang’s sleeping face was so eye-catching and fascinating that Lu Chengye did not dare to look too closely, for fear that he would not be able to satisfy his previous desire. He could only shift his attention to extinguish the fire, hoping that when Hang Hang woke up the next morning, he would not find his corpse bleeding from every orifice.
If he was home alone, Zhang Hang didn’t need to turn on the lights. However, after Lu Chengye came in, even if they were in the midst of a heated kiss, Zhang Hang would not forget to conscientiously turn on the lights in the living room and bedroom. Lu Chengye didn’t dare to look at Zhang Hang, so he could only look Zhang Hang’s bedroom up and down.
With just this look, Lu Chengye really didn’t know what to say.
This room, both its interior and furnishings, were exactly the same as the one in the house he and Hang Hang bought with the money won from the lottery. The architecture of the Kaishi and Beijing house were different and Zhang Hang was blind, so how did he arrange this room exactly the same as that one? Maybe he asked someone else to take photos or videos, but even if the room was decorated the same way, some details would be different. Wanting it to be so similar… Within Lu Chengye’s mind, memories resurfaced of Zhang Hang gently touching every corner of the house where they once lived, as well as remembering every inch of the house by touch. When his house in Beijing was later decorated, Zhang Hang must have relied on his own hands to correct the details little by little.
Maybe… It wasn’t just Beijing and Kaishi. According to what Lu Chengye knew, Zhang Hang had a similar small house as a temporary residence in several large cities. In other words, it was very likely that the rooms there were the same.
After Big Black died, had Zhang Hang relied on this memory of the past to slowly get through the last five years?

Lu Chengye knew, because of his past experience, that Zhang Hang really did have abnormal feelings towards Big Black. Admittedly, this kind of feeling was touching, but if someone depended on something too much, they were unable to survive in this world for long. As Big Black, Lu Chengye made a series of preparations for Zhang Hang’s future. His preparations were not in vain. Even if he left for five years, Zhang Hang did not have to worry about food or clothing, but also had enough money to help other blind people. However, he had neglected to get Zhang Hang psychological help.
Perhaps at that time, Lu Chengye was vaguely aware that if Zhang Hang continued like this, he would become unable to leave him. However, he ignored this because of his own selfish motives, and allowed Zhang Hang to continue to like and depend on him.
Now, Zhang Hang seemed like he was living well in front of other people. He was an outstanding and successful figure, something that was rare for blind people to accomplish to this degree. But, seeing this bedroom, Lu Chengye came to the realization that his Hang Hang was, in fact, forever longing for the caring days of his youth. He enveloped his heart in a calm and strong shell, guarding it firmly, but suffered alone in this room. All of this was unintentionally caused by Lu Chengye.
He had entirely obtained this man at the price of keeping the man firmly imprisoned at his side, both physically and mentally.
Lu Chengye knew that his feelings may also have been distorted from those years of mutual dependence. Otherwise, when seeing Hang Hang’s current situation, why was there faint pleasure underneath his heartache?
He looked down at the sleeping Hang Hang and stroked that face which had been cut and polished by the years. Such an excellent person was all his. No doubt, he belonged to him completely. Even if he left the world, he would not belong to any others.
Lu Chengye stared at Zhang Hang’s sleeping face for a good while before suddenly lowering his head and kissing him. Like this, the originally lightly sleeping Hang Hang woke up immediately because of this kiss. His eyes were beautiful, and even though he was somewhat panicked, they did not show it, instead remaining as deep and bottomless as ever.
Lu Chengye’s kiss moved from the younger man’s lips to his eyelids and Zhang Hang obediently closed his eyes. He was obviously surprised and bewildered, but didn’t ask, instead silently responding to Lu Chengye first thing after waking.
“Hang Hang, I want to restrain myself,” Lu Chengye said hoarsely as he pressed his lips to Zhang Hang’s eyelids. “I don’t want to ruin your good mood, but right now, I can no longer bear it.”
“Why do you want to restrain yourself? What is there to endure?” Zhang Hang asked subconsciously.
Lu Chengye pinched Zhang Hang’s chin and asked, “Hang Hang, what did you learn in your physical health class in middle school?”
“… It wasn’t an exam course. The teacher spent our physical education class having a learning committee member read all the lessons in the physical health textbook aloud. That was the only class the teacher taught.” Zhang Hang, after all was said and done, didn’t understand anything. His face was a little red as he said, “I was… probably thinking about that physical education class that was forcefully rescheduled, and thinking about playing soccer the whole time. I didn’t pay attention at all.”
“When you were growing up, did anyone ever try to seduce you where I couldn’t see you?” Lu Chengye’s lips moved from Zhang Hang’s eyelids to the edge of his ear. His movements were actually very well-behaved, but somehow even his voice carried a trace of ambiguity.
Zhang Hang hesitated for a moment. He didn’t want to answer Lu Chengye’s question, but also didn’t wish there to be a misunderstanding between them. But Lu Chengye increased the strength with which his fingers were holding Zhang Hang’s chin, as if urging him, and he had no choice but to say, “There were… some.”
He was vague about the quantity. Lu Chengye didn’t want to ask something that would disrupt the mood like, “exactly how many people are pursuing my man” either. He now concentrated on giving guidance. “How did they seduce you?”
Zhang Hang, no matter how cool-headed and strong he was, had never experienced such a thing. He was held tightly within a man’s arms and was unable to move. The man he liked was blowing air into his ear, constantly asking him if he’d had an affair… Up until now, the pure and pitiful Zhang Hang had unexpectedly still believed Lu Chengye was jealous of the matter where he had gotten Shen Mingfei to help him. All the previous experience he possessed was no longer useful for dealing with emotional problems. Of course, when rejecting people who liked him, he had always been calm, but facing Lu Chengye… Zhang Hang’s heart was a complete mess. Sometimes it would rise high, sometimes it would sink low. Every fluctuation was like a helpless free-fall.
“They, they just… tried to touch me with their hands, but I avoided them,” he hurriedly assured.
“Oh?” The corner of Lu Chengye’s lips quirked in a ruminating smile. “Well? Did they do it like this, or like that?”
As he spoke, he pinched Zhang Hang’s face, making it look like a red pepper. Even his fingers were pink.
“Not, not that much. The women only touched my shoulders or arms a little until I could avoid them in time. For some of them, I smelled their perfume getting close and got away in advance,” Zhang Hang explained with difficulty.
Confirming that Zhang Hang, during their five-year separation, had a heart as calm as water and empty as a piece of blank paper, Lu Chengye couldn’t help smiling happily. He hugged Zhang Hang energetically, wishing he could rub this person into his own flesh and blood. : +1 they finally did it~~ *throws confetti* we are almost 90% done with the book~~.
