As the sun rose in the east, its rays illuminated the earth. A dirigible hovering above Captain Jack's tavern emitted a low rumble, and the nearly kilometer-long airship's surface, covered in a thin, mirror-like metal, blossomed like petals.

In just a few breaths, a massive mirror, over three kilometers in diameter, appeared in the sky. This circular mirror reflected the eastern sunlight, converging it into a dazzling beam that illuminated the entire block where Captain Jack's tavern stood, leaving no shadow or blind spot.

Old Jack, who was bowing at the tavern door to bid farewell to two inspectors, raised his head in shock. He looked up at the circular mirror in the sky, which was slowly unfolding, and began to curse hysterically: "Damn hunters! You bastards!"

The two inspectors turned around simultaneously. They pulled out two crossbows from their trench coats, which were adorned with faint rune patterns, and aimed them at Old Jack, pulling the triggers. Two silver metal pellets, each the size of a thumb, shot out and hit Old Jack's chest with a 'bang.'

Old Jack was thrown back as if hit by a charging bull, spewing blood from his mouth. The metal pellets quickly changed shape, like liquid, and with a 'swoosh,' they extended countless silver metal threads, forming a large net that tightly bound Old Jack.

The net compressed forcefully, reducing Old Jack's large frame to a ball no more than two feet in diameter. His bones creaked, and he screamed hysterically: "Little Jack, run for your life! Damn hunters, they've gone mad, attacking law-abiding citizens of the city!"

One of the inspectors, who had just received a bribe from Old Jack, kicked him hard in the face. The kick was so heavy that Old Jack's teeth flew out, and blood and saliva gushed from his mouth, leaving him unable to even scream in pain.

The one called Little Jack was the young man in the tavern's back alley who could control fire. As the security officers were investigating the scene, Little Jack was taking care of a few burly men inside and outside the tavern. Suddenly, he heard Old Jack's angry roar, paused for a moment, and then rushed out of the tavern door like a madman.

Over a dozen security officers, clad in full-body combat armor, rushed over with long spears in hand. They shouted at Little Jack as he burst out of the tavern door: "Drop your weapons, stop resisting, we have the right to execute you on the spot!"

The spears, about two meters long, were engraved with three rows of spiral runes from bottom to top. At the intersection of these runes, twelve thumb-sized white crystals were embedded. These crystals emitted a faint energy pulse, and occasionally, a dim light would converge at the spear's tip, making the entire spear glow with a brilliant light, indicating its formidable power.

Little Jack crouched down as he rushed out of the tavern. He crossed his hands, and a flame-shaped rune on his forehead suddenly flashed. A fierce wind and fire roared between his hands, and without any incantations or hand signs, a dozen fist-sized fireballs condensed between his hands and shot out like cannonballs.

The dozen security officers who rushed towards Little Jack were hit by these fireballs. Despite their small size, the fireballs contained immense power. A series of sharp explosions rang out, and the dozen security officers screamed in agony. Their combat armor, made of alloy plates and monster hide, was shattered, and they were thrown dozens of meters away, spewing blood and smoke.

More security officers, also armed with long spears, rushed over from a distance. Seeing the power of Little Jack's fireballs, they leveled their spears from afar, locking onto Little Jack's body. A strong light flashed from the spears, and with a piercing sound, a beam of light several meters long and as thick as a fist shot out from the spear tips, hurtling towards Little Jack like lightning.

Little Jack awkwardly dove to the ground, and the dozens of beams of light narrowly missed him. The dull sounds continued, and the walls of Captain Jack's tavern were punctured with dozens of transparent holes. The beams of light were so powerful that they penetrated several walls before gradually dissipating.

In the gondola of the dirigible hovering a thousand meters above the ground, nearly a hundred hunters in black attire leaped down one after another. They wore gliding devices on their backs, resembling bird wings, and landed lightly like large birds. In the air, dozens of meters above the ground, these hunters drew their glowing long knives from their backs, discarded their gliding devices, and landed gracefully.

Upon landing, these agile hunters rolled to absorb the impact of their fall. They then sprang up like leopards, their knives flashing in arcs as they charged towards Little Jack.

From a nearby car, Sander, Fanees, and a young man in a white robe emerged. Sander cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted: "Hey, seal all the sewers nearby, use shock waves to find all the secret passages and rooms, don't let anyone escape! Don't harm this fire-wielding kid, he's Fanees's prey!"

Several of the fastest hunters had already reached Little Jack. They raised their long knives, ready to strike. But upon hearing Sander's command, they sheathed their knives and swiftly entered Captain Jack's tavern.

The burly men under Little Jack's command, armed with various weapons, roared and charged out. However, compared to these hunters, the burly men were far inferior in strength. The tavern was filled with the flashing of knives, each strike as swift as lightning, easily slicing through the throats of the burly men. Hot blood splattered everywhere, and the tavern was once again filled with the stench of blood.

Hearing the dying screams of his men, Little Jack cursed the hunters and used all his strength to leap up. A flame flickered over his body as he prepared to rush into the tavern to save his subordinates.

But a hot wind swept past him, and Fanees, enveloped in flames, stood before him. Fanees's body was surrounded by a layer of scorching flames, and twelve fist-sized crimson fireballs orbited her rapidly.

Waves of heat continuously radiated from Fanees, dispersing the surrounding dust and making the security officers unsteady on their feet. They were forced to stagger back by the strong wind.

Compared to the faint, dim flame on Little Jack's body, Fanees's flames were at least a hundred times more intense, and the aura she emitted was far beyond what Little Jack could match. While Little Jack had a flame-shaped rune on his forehead, Fanees had a thumb-sized crimson flame crystal emerging from her forehead, the source of all her flames.

"A noble bloodline, yet you have fallen into decadence, lost soul!" Fanees, enveloped in flames, narrowed her eyes and looked at Little Jack arrogantly. "You possess the same power as I do, which proves we share the same ancestor! In the name of our common origin, if you can repent for your sins and recognize your mistakes, I can give you a new life!"

"Boss, run for your life!" A burly man, his chest pierced by a long knife and spewing blood, staggered out of the tavern. He spread his arms and lunged at Fanees, shouting desperately: "I told you, Old Jack is unreliable! Boss, run for your life, don't die for this old man, it's not worth it!"

The moment the burly man's hands touched Fanees's flames, his body burst into flames. It was as if a volcano had erupted inside him, turning his body red and semi-transparent. Bright flames shot out from his body, and in an instant, he was reduced to ashes that scattered in the wind.

Little Jack's body trembled violently, and he stared blankly at the ashes of his subordinate, his mind numb.

Old Jack, bound by the metal net and his bones creaking, rolled his eyes and foamed at the mouth, roaring: "These ungrateful bastards! Without me, how would you have survived all these years? How would you have become so fat and strong? But, Little Jack, if you can escape, do it. This girl is far too strong for you!"

Old Jack tried to shout more, but the inspector who had just received his bribe kicked him again. The two inspectors dragged the metal net, quickly crossing the road and entering the crowd of security officers. Several hunters with long knives immediately placed their knives at Old Jack's neck and stuffed a towel into his mouth.

Several white-robed men rushed over, using syringes to draw blood from Old Jack and mix it with several unknown reagents for on-site analysis.

In the distance, a dozen flying cars, adorned with faint rune patterns, sped towards the scene. These cars landed on nearby streets, and a large number of black-clad hunters, armed with various weapons, poured out. They opened the sewer manholes and entered the sewers.

Soon, a low rumble echoed from underground, and shock waves spread rapidly through the ground. The hunters used various secret techniques to quickly take control of all the sewers and other underground structures in the area.

Sander watched the hunters busily working in all directions and thoughtfully stroked his chin.

"Respected boss, I always feel like we're being used! Look, before dawn, a secret report came in, saying that a few vampire strongholds might have a significant figure! This feeling makes me very uncomfortable!"

The young man in the white robe gripped a cross and said calmly: "What does it matter? As long as we can eliminate these heretics in the darkness, even if we are being used, I am willing. Perhaps it's just another internal conflict within the Dark Alliance, nothing more."

After looking around for a while, Sander took out a gold ingot the size of a fist and showed it to the young man in the white robe.

"Then, how about a bet? Let's see what level of figure is hiding in this tavern. A significant figure, at least a powerful noble, right? A baron? A viscount? Surely not an earl?"

Mentioning the word 'earl,' Sander already had a dreamy smile: "If we can kill an earl, how much reward would we get? Boss, do you think if I can cut off an earl's head, Fanees will let me kiss her?"

The young man in the white robe looked at Sander as if he were a fool and then shook his head helplessly.

"Please note, Sander, if a powerful earl really appears, it will be our turn to run for our lives! Together, we can handle a senior baron at most. If we burn our lifespans and use our primal powers, we might defeat a newly promoted viscount. But an earl, who has lived for at least two hundred years, is best avoided."

Playing with the gold ingot in his hand, Sander looked at the young man in the white robe with regret: "Then, you won't take the bet?"

The young man in the white robe shook the cross in his hand: "Gambling? No, thank you, I have my principles to follow!"

Above and below, in all directions, Captain Jack's tavern was surrounded. Underground, hundreds of hunters formed a tight blockade, and various powerful weapons that could harm blood demons were in place. On the ground, the sunlight reflected by the airship covered three blocks, leaving no shadows or blind spots. Once a blood demon was exposed to the glaring sunlight, they would be reduced to ashes.

In the secret room of the tavern, Yin Xuege was sleeping. He had just fallen asleep not long ago.

The bed provided by Old Jack was very soft and comfortable, and the clean sheets had a faint, unfamiliar fragrance. Yin Xuege had never seen the sun and had never used sun-dried bedding, so he didn't know it was the smell of the sun. The soft bed was much more comfortable than the hard bed in his small building, and the fragrant, dry sheets made him feel very strange, so he slept very deeply.

In his sleep, he vaguely heard the 'bang' sounds coming through the walls, thinking it was just another disturbance in Old Jack's tavern. He didn't pay much attention to it, just changed to a more comfortable position, and continued to sleep soundly.

Suddenly, the door to his room was kicked open, and several bright lights shone in.

Yin Xuege was startled. Although he had the strength of a Star Warrior and had undergone countless practical battles in the Young Warrior Hall, as a young warrior, he had not received comprehensive survival combat training. He had ample experience in face-to-face combat, but he had never encountered a sudden ambush while in bed.

Before he could react, several agile figures rushed in, grabbed his hands and feet, and bound him tightly with an extremely strong metal rope. A spellcaster in a black robe slowly walked in, placed a black metal spell symbol on Yin Xuege's chest, and recited a spell in a low voice.

The spellcaster's black bone staff struck the ground heavily, and Yin Xuege felt a heavy weight on his body, as if carrying thousands of pounds, making it impossible to move.

A black figure turned and struck Yin Xuege's abdomen with the hilt of a long knife.

Yin Xuege felt a pain in his abdomen and involuntarily groaned. The blow wasn't very painful; Yin Xuege groaned more out of surprise than fear. The pain was much less than he expected. Was it because the person had no strength, or was his body too strong?

The sound of chaotic footsteps came, and several bright lights shone on Yin Xuege's face.

Yin Xuege squinted and slightly turned his face. The Young Warrior Hall's curriculum didn't teach him what to do if captured, but at least Yin Xuege wasn't stupid. He kept his mouth shut, knowing that not speaking or acting rashly was always the right choice in such situations.

A strange voice said: "A child? Why is it a child?"

Outside the room, someone else said: "No one else, only this child was caught!"

Yin Xuege's heart sank. What did they mean by no one else? Where were the two Yin clan warriors who came with him? Where were Yin Jiujiusanqi and Yin Jiujiusanba? Were they not caught, or had they escaped?

The strong light forced Yin Xuege to keep his eyes closed. Several powerful hands grabbed him and pulled him out of the room. His sleeping room was quickly turned upside down, and his soft sword, the soft armor recently granted by the Inner Affairs Hall, and the ten bottles of blood essence he had exchanged for before leaving were all found.

People were everywhere, and the heavy breathing and hostile gazes made Yin Xuege feel utterly isolated and helpless.

He was carried by several people, and many others stared at him. Some were muttering, demanding that he be burned slowly rather than quickly turned to ashes by the sun.

Others were whispering: "Look at those things, that equipment and those potions, he's a damn vampire!"

Another person approached Yin Xuege, sniffing from his face to his toes, and then muttered to himself: "But it's a bit strange, no vampire smell? No blood smell, no cold corpse smell!"

Soon, all the noise stopped, and Yin Xuege heard two sets of footsteps approaching.

Sander and the young man in the white robe came to Yin Xuege's side. Sander lifted Yin Xuege's chin lightly and whistled.

"Hey, look, dear boss, a tiny, tender vampire?"

"Are those blood demons out of their minds? They sent a young warrior into the Great Berlin City?"

The young man in the white robe came to Yin Xuege's side, looked at him deeply, and waved his hand lightly.

"Throw him out, burn off one of his hands with sunlight, then ask him why he's here."
