Durán adjusted the gravity wheel to 40 times, and then entered a meditative state. He had always felt that the perpetual motion machine generating infinite energy existed within his body, but this time, during his meditation, Durán discovered that the perpetual motion machine was actually in his soul. It looked like a black hole in a scientific documentary, but unlike a black hole, the perpetual motion machine not only did not devour anything, but also provided Durán with an endless supply of energy.
When he woke up from his meditation, it turned out that more than a year had passed, and Vegeta had already left Earth. Krillin, Gohan, and Bulma had also set off for Namek.
Durán cursed under his breath and immediately took the Senzu Beans he had collected to the hospital to find Goku, then decided to build a spaceship to go to Namek. On the spaceship, Durán entered a meditative state for the second time, but this time he had already told Goku to wake him up when they arrived. As for any potential mental derangement, it was no big deal; at most, he would just eat a Senzu Bean.
"Durán, aren't you hungry? We've been sitting for a long time."
At 100 times gravity, Durán felt some pressure, as he usually trained at 40 times gravity. Durán shook his head, "I feel I've reached my limit. I need a battle. A battle to the death. So when we land, let's go our separate ways."
Goku and Durán looked at each other and smiled, "Oh, good luck."
Durán sensed Frieza's energy and flew over. Durán knew he needed a chance to break through and rebuild, and he wanted to surpass Cell and Buu later. This was his only chance, so he had to take the risk.
Frieza was notorious for his ruthless and merciless killings. Battling Frieza was like courting death, and indeed, that was exactly what Durán was doing.
In the darkness, although still on Namek, Durán felt as if he were in the depths of the universe. Durán's body was hit by Frieza's super energy blast and turned to dust.
But Durán knew he wasn't dead, and the Dragon Balls couldn't revive him. Thanks to the perpetual motion machine, his soul remained intact. This was Durán's plan: to break through and rebuild, freeing himself from the constraints of his physical body. Now, all Durán needed to do was to reconstruct his body.
Goku was engaged in a fierce battle with Frieza's third form. Namek was about to be destroyed, and Krillin's death sparked Goku's greatest anger.
The legendary Super Saiyan appeared in reality.
"I'm angry, Frieza—!!!" Goku's combat power exceeded ten million.
Meanwhile, Durán was still working hard to reconstruct his body, gradually gathering energy. Yes, Durán's new body would be a pure energy form.
Namek was ultimately destroyed, and Durán's soul lost its anchor, entering the universe. The energy in the universe was chaotic, but Durán had plenty of time to gradually control it.
Finally, after five years, Durán's body was complete, but he was lost in the universe, unable to find his way back to Earth.
However, since Frieza's influence spanned the universe, Durán found a planet that knew about Frieza and, following the trail, spent half a year finally returning to Earth.
By this time, the Dragon Ball storyline was already after the Cell Games and before the Buu saga. Durán found the time machine used by Cell, brought it to Bulma's house, and had her modify it with the high-tech he obtained from Dr. Gero.
Although Bulma was young, Durán still trusted her more than Dr. Gero, as the safety of Dr. Gero's creations was questionable.
While Bulma was modifying the spaceship, Durán returned to Kame House to retrieve the Senzu Beans and seeds he had stored there. He also went shopping to prepare for leaving the Dragon Ball world.
Durán didn't know his destination, as the time machine had been modified into a space-time breaker, and he wasn't sure how effective it would be. But now, with his advanced skills, Durán was no longer afraid of the unknown world.
Carrying various items collected from the Dragon Ball world, Durán waved goodbye to his friends, "I've backed up all the photos from my previous travels on Kame House's computer. Goodbye, I'm going to continue my travels."
"Take care, Durán. Come back to see us when you have time."
"Sure, goodbye." Although he had only spent a short time in this world, Durán had learned a lot. The Turtle Hermit, the Crane Hermit, Krillin, Goku, Mr. Martial Arts, Dr. Gero, Bulma, and Aralé had all taught him much.
PS: Durán is no longer human, and his journey as a non-human is about to begin. The common enemy of the Great Sword sisters, Durán, is about to make his appearance!!
