Synopsis

After quitting a toxic, overworking job on the brink of burnout, I, a thirty-something, somehow ended up becoming a VTuber named Kanzaka Rei under the virtual talent agency “UnderLive,” all thanks to my little sister’s persuasion.

“I don’t really get this VTuber thing, but I’ll give it my all!” I thought, brimming with enthusiasm. However, in the female-dominated world of UnderLive, just being a male VTuber gets me bashed by viewers.

To make matters worse, on just my second day, a fellow debutant causes a massive scandal, leading to their firing! Will this thirty-something VTuber, swarmed by haters, have any future at all!? …Well, it’s probably still better than working myself to death, right?
